Winter to springs seems to be the longest wait, but once it s there it isn t all that great. In spring there is much to worry about, It s because spring is tornado season. Why? Springs weather is crazy winter s cold air and warm air combine, it creates a mixture of swirls. The Cold air sinks to the bottom

Wonderful weather in this season, clear atmosphere, it s usually dry. Sunniest yet least humid season for going out and raking leaves, or building a scare crow. Whatever it is this season is the best time to do it! Saving the best for last SUMMER!Extremely hot and humid. The Average temps. are in the low 80 s. Droughts often occur, Thunderstorms are also common. There s heat waves but cooler air. The weather can be extremely hot.

The Highest recorded temperature was 116 degrees Fahrenheit. July 14, 1936. In Collegeville. Could you

SURVIVING

You probably by now wondering, “ What do I do if I’m in a tornado?” Well there are many things you can do. Remember even though the main seasons of tornadoes are Spring and Summer, a tornado can occur during anytime. If you are inside you should go to your basement or a shelter. In the shelter you should always keep food, water, supplies, and other basic needs. If you are outside when a tornado occurs, make sure there are shelter around. If there is not lay on the ground. Try to cover your head and body with your hands. Stay in that position until the tornado ends and help in on its way.

THE OCCURRENCE

A tornado can occur whenever. Most tornadoes occur during the months of March through May. They also are more likely to occur between the time 3-9p.m.Tornadoes seem to form on cool and humid days. Tornadoes are dangerous creatures that we never know will attack! Always be aware of the dangers of the world.
