President Gentile has given strength to the connection between the college and city of Lynn for all ages from early education opportunities, to the MALES Program, to opening a MASSHire Career Center on campus and countless other initiatives that have made higher education more accessible and affordable to North Shore residents, particularly in the City of Lynn. One of her most lasting accomplishments, and something I worked very closely with her on, was the creation of the CommUniverCity. It brought many entities in Lynn together to address the needs of the community.
