As usual, operation of the regatta was made successful by the many volunteers who helped out on the day. NUBC extends thanks to our tinnie drivers (Seb, Wayne and Mark), Judith Flowers and Steve for helping on the canteen, and all NUBC members who helped with flag dropping, commentary and the canteen (especially those who volunteered even if they weren't competing). You all made the event a great success. Special thanks should also go to our regatta sponsor Banlaw, for their generous donation to our club.

NUBC Annual Dinner The NUBC Annual Dinner was held on the 20th of November. The purpose of the dinner is to celebrate the achievements of the NUBC and its members over the year. It also serves as a way for NUBC affiliates and alumni to catch up and see how the club is going. The dinner is also proof that NUBC members can wear clothing that is not skin-tight zooties. The dinner was held at Isabella's Restaurant on the University campus, who provided us with a delicious three course meal. For the first time, a post-dinner celebratory party was then held at the King Street Hotel, which was a great success and guaranteed it was a night to remember.
