Nucleus Arts is part of the Halpern Charitable Foundation (registered charity number 1096478). HCF was formed in 2002, and exists to inspire and transform the lives of the broad and diverse audiences of people and communities in Medway and Kent. The vision is to stimulate social inclusion, health and well-being and to enhance the quality of people’s lives through the arts and beyond. Nucleus Arts is just one of the organisations that provide this vision.

THE HALPERN COLLECTION Thurs 25 JANUARY to 1pm Tues 6 FEBRUARY 2018

This exhibition represents a selection of the Halpern family’s collection of Nucleus Arts’ and other local and international artists’ work. It is a celebration of the support given by the late Hilary and Marie Halpern. Some of these paintings and sculptures will be for sale by sealed bids. All contributions will support the vision of the Halpern Charitable Foundation.

OSBORN

Maggie Osborn is a studio artist at Nucleus Arts and a trained Theatre Designer. Her work encompasses all mediums: she moulds from clay and paints and uses charcoal. Her influences are empirical and her tastes eclectic but through it all the love of what she does shines through.

ANN PALMER

Singing Skies Dancing Wate Singing Skies and Dancing Waters is an exhibition of oil paintings by Ann Palmer from the past year. Ann paints on the beach and by the river, or in the vineyard where the skies are large and the expanse of water and land reflect the colours of the sky. This exhibtion has something for everyone - from small plein air studies to large, more considered pieces painted in the studio.

As I See It are paintings from memory. These dramatic and colourful seascapes, landscapes and cityscapes are Roger’s visons of remembered places from his life and travels.
