Tempura is a Japanese cuisine consisting of seafood, vegetables, breaded tubers deep fried in oil. The word tempura is usually written in Japanese his is a fairly common dish in Japanese meals, from boxed meals to high-end parties. Around the world, tempura along with sushi are the best known Japanese dishes.
What makes the difference between tempura and fried foods such as ebifurai is the dough, oil and dipping sauce and spices. The flour used to make tempura is a paste made from flour, egg yolks and cold water. Frying oil is a mixture of regular cooking oil and sesame oil.
Dipping sauce or spices depending on the taste of each person or each store, can be soy sauce (today there are types of soy sauce for ready made tempura), refined salt. There are also Japanese peo into soy sauce.
