Founded in 1979, Sierra Nevada Brewing has become a fixture on the West Coast. Anchored by its perpetual favorite Pale Ale, the company has continued to innovate and introduce beers that draw new fans to their brand.

In addition to its main brewery in Chico, California (just north of Sacramento), Sierra Nevada opened a second brewery in Mills River, North Carolina. Both locations feature tap rooms that serve lunch and dinner to guests.

Sierra Nevada has a variety of great beer styles that will suit every enthusiast.

Pale Ale

Over the course of more than three decades, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale has evolved from an industry outlier to trusty bar standby. Today, it’s the number one best-selling craft beer in the country and can be found in all 50 states. It has even made its way to 17 foreign countries.

Torpedo

Sierra Nevada Torpedo Ale is a big American IPA; bold, assertive and full of flavor and aromas highlighting the complex citrus, pine and herbal character of whole-cone American hops.

Hazy Little Thing

Following the trend of hazy, New England-style IPAs, Hazy Little Thing is a delicious take. It’s hop heavy, but not bitter, and has a fruit-forward finish. The unfiltered beer is an excellent change of pace when you’re on the golf course.

Celebration

This delicious fresh hop IPA was first brewed in 1981, one of the first Americanstyle IPAs. It was a new take on holiday and winter beers, offering a unique flavor without the sweet or spiced notes.

Annual Sierra Nevada Beer Camp

Event focuses on beer and fun for adults

Each year - alternating between Chico and Mills River - Sierra Nevada hosts a day of outrageous fun and games. Attendees play human foosball, keg bowling, participate in a costume contest and more. Best of all, every game is available with a beer in hand.

It’s an excellent opportunity to meet other Sierra Nevada enthusiasts and try some of the company’s newest brews and classic favorites. The entire day is rounded out by an assortment of local eats and popular bands that keep the party rolling.

The most popular part of Beer Camp is the group costume contest. The winning crew each year gets free passes to next year’s Beer Camp.
