JULY GOVERNOR'S BULLETIN Hi NYDKC! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Here is what our board has been up to! In July, we had our second virtual board meeting. We also have planned another Swiftkick webinar in August for the district as well as hosted a district board Racial Equity Webinar with the Pacific North West District! International hosted a summer leadership conference that many of our NYDKC members attended! We are trying to make this a great year as greatly as we can! We are a team and can get through anything together! Keep on striving to make new York district Key Club great!
WINNER'S CIRCLE
Columbia High School Key Club made cards to send to heroes and essential workers during these hard times. They made thank you cards to send to the hero’s and essential works that are helping to save lives everyday. It is very important to give recognition and appreciation to these heroes and there is so much as a community or even individually that you can do to spread positivity during these tough times. Their Key Club has also been making cards for residents in nursing homes who are unable to see their families during these times. It’s very important to spread positivity to everyone because we are all in this together. Even the simplest act can have the biggest impact. -Division 18
