June Governors Bulletin Updates from Governor Mariam!
Hey Key Clubbers! It's almost summer and here is what our board has been up too! In April we held our very first board meeting virtually and discussed how we can help the New York district during these trying times. In May I had the opportunity to speak with other governors on their plans for their districts and have received some great information. I also got to hop into some great divisionals and meet so many of you! In June we got to have a New York District Webinar with the Pacific North West district on Team engagement, we even got to have a little bit of a dance party during the session. If you were spotlighted great dance moves! We are creating more and more resources for you and your clubs to use for virtual meetings!
Service Spotlight!
On May 23rd, the Clayton A. Bouton Key Club held our 4th annual Fill a Car for Vets event to benefit the Albany Veterans Miracle Center. This event is typically held during the annual town parade but we wanted to hold the event anyways. We collected hundreds of items in a matter of hours with the help of several volunteers! We got to celebrate the true meaning of Memorial Day and bring our community together. Division 16
