This 8-week program helps manage mood and worry. You will learn practical strategies to deal with feelings when you feel fed up, worried or feeling hopeless. There are ways to help improve these feelings by learning some new techniques to manage life’s challenges. This insightful approach teaches that all the things we experience, think, feel, and do are interconnected. Using Cognitive Behavioral Principles, participants will learn how to reverse negative habits and develop new processes to rebuild happiness.

The Tensegrity Repair Series is designed to hydrate and loosen connective tissues (fascia) to ease old holding patterns and facilitate ease of movement. Tensegrity (tension + integrity) describes the interconnection of ligaments, tendons, muscles and organs as it relates to tension and compression of the body.

This hybrid class combines the deep stretching and fascial release of Yin Yoga with the deep relaxation of Restorative Yoga. Class may include gentle warmup movements, fascial release using massage balls, Yin postures that are held for long periods of time to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, supported restorative postures to soothe the nervous system, and guided meditation. You will leave this class feeling released, relieved, and restored.

Sleep is essential to repair muscles, brain functioning, memory, and focus. It also strengthens immunity. This is where science meets yogic wisdom. We begin with conscious breathing into relaxation, a gentle yogic sleep movement sequence, and finish with a 25 to 30 minute guided ‘Yoga Nidra’ known as the yogic sleep. This is a powerful technique to move the mind and body towards a deep state of conscious awareness and relaxation. In this class expect special relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, and guided imagery.
