If English is not your first language, you are aged 19 or over and you live or work in the UK then we can help you to improve your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and gain a Trinity College London ESOL Skills for Life qualification. We offer part time courses from Entry Level 1 through to Level 2. You will take an initial assessment to decide the best level to meet your needs.

What will I achieve? l A Certificate in ESOL Skills for Life

You may also achieve an Entry Level Award in Employability Skills. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) assesses whether you are ready to begin studies at university level or to join a profession.

What will I learn? l Exam strategies and techniques to cover all parts of the exam l To use a wide range of academic vocabulary l To speak with greater confidence and accuracy Exams must be booked at a validated centre. You can find out more at:

Full Time 1 Year St Albans

This course is for 16-18 year old students from beginners to Level 1 who are living in the UK and wish to improve their English before progressing to vocational or academic programmes. You will study for a minimum of 15 hours per week and will be able to gain qualifications in: l English Language: ESOL Skills for Life Speaking & Listening, Reading and Writing l Numeracy: Functional Skills Maths l ICT: Functional Skills ICT l Personal Development: Award in Employability

Skills You will take part in a range of workshops, vocational tasters and work experience placements. You will receive advice and guidance to prepare you for your next steps.

What you can do next Students will be able to progress onto academic or vocational programmes at an appropriate level.
