TUCSON – T Media Promotion and the Observer Weekly partnered to donate twelve refurbished computer monitors to the local LGBTQ community center, Wingspan, last week. The monitors were delivered to executive director Carol Grimsby and program director Chad Mosher at the EON youth lounge. Both Wingspan representatives were elated at the gift and thanked the donors for their generosity. Wingspan currently offers computer access to youth and community members at its welcome center and youth lounge, and the monitors will add to Wingspan’s supply of equipment. Wingspan plans to launch an alternative high school utilizing online curricula next fall. The monitors were donated to help defray the set-up costs associated with establishing the school.
