Tips for a Healthy Liver
by Phil Richards
Your liver is the main detoxification organ in the body. To ensure your do not hold toxins and therefore, fat in your body, you need to have a fully functioning, healthy liver. Having a fatty liver can increase your risk of type II diabetes!. Here are critical tips to improving your liver health: Eat organically produced foods as much as possible to avoid toxic chemical residues. Avoid artificial flavourings and preservatives.
Avoid damaged fats such as hydrogenated fats in many processed foods.
Avoid excess saturated animal fat like sausage, bacon, salami, hot dogs, high dairy products like whole milk, ice cream and cheese.
Use cold pressed oils and do not use them for cooking. Add them to food AFTER its been removed from the heat.
Do not overeat at meal time, as this places an enormous added burden on your liver and detoxification pathways.
Only use a little bit of butter or coconut oil, a saturated fat, for cooking.
Also chew your food thoroughly!
Make sure your nets and seeds are really fresh.
Treating your liver well by following the above advice will have a huge impact on your body fat, health and longevity.
Lower The Sugar = Increase The Metabolism!
I
nsulin acts on nearly every cell and influences energy storage, cell growth and repair, reproductive function and blood sugar levels. Consuming too much glucose from a high sugar-diet can make our cells become deaf to insulin’s message, making us insulin resistant. When this occurs our appetite increases, we are more likely to be leptin resistant, and our metabolism slows.
Although insulin resistance is the most common hormone problem in the world today, most people don’t even know they got it. it’s a key factor to obesity, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome,
polycystic ovary syndrome, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease.
The more body fat a individual has, and particularly the more abdominal fat they have, the more likely they are to be insulin resistant.
