”In 2006 hä? was founded by my brother Mat. We spent some time in Mammoth Mountains to shred the park when Mat hurt his back and therefore wasn‘t able to snowboard anymore for six weeks. Back then Mat had dreadlocks and never found a beanie that did fit him well enough. Bored of the American tv, he decided to knit some beanies by himself. The whole crew was stoked on the smooth style and fit. That’s how it all started and we‘ve never thought that we can go all the way to the point we are at right now. During the last ten years our hä?family has grown a lot and people with the same passion joined us on our journey. Watching our childhood heroes – like Nicolas Müller, Fredi K or Heikki Sorsa – shredding with the stuff we designed, Mat and I are smiling at each other and can hardly believe it. We are very proud to have started something with our own hands that evolved to something bigger than just a label. Hä? became a family. Our team riders and hä?family members are working closely with us, which leads to constant improvement of functionality and style of our products. Together we create new styles to make your days out in the cold as fun as possible. As as Swiss brand we really focus on quality. SWISS DESIGNED QUALITY HEADWEAR During the winter months the Swiss Alps are a tough environment. We are happy to call these mountains our home and spend day after day in harsh conditions. This leads to a steady innovation and improvement of our products, from which emerges the high quality of our headwear. We focus on high quality, but transperancy and a fair production are just as important.
The Valais Blacknose Sheep. When you grow up in our valley, the Valais blacknose sheep accompanies you from the early days on. It is a very beautiful and trusting animal. The sheep spend many days outdoors in summer, before they are collected in autumn and brought back down to the valley. The wool is very durable and extremely beautiful. The wool is not normally used for clothes. We needed some time and lots of patience to create this special line of local products. But it was worth it and we are very proud to present you our first line from the Valais Blacknose Sheep. Cashmere is considered to be the most luxurious of natural fibres. It is extremely lightweight and comfortable. Cashmere adopts to temperature, due to the high moisture content of the wool. In the winter it will keep you warm and insulated, yet it will ensure you stay cool in the summer. Cashmere is also extremely long lasting. Merino is a really fine and soft natural fiber. The Merino Wool absorbs moisture vapour, which means less sweat on your body. It even absorbs the odours from sweat. It is also an active fiber that reacts to changes in body temperatures. You will stay warm when it‘s cold and it helps you to cool when it‘s hot!
Polycolon® is a highly functional fabric. Our team riders are really stoked about its functionality as a first layer. Polycolon® gets rid of uncomfortable moisture from the skin and stays dry, is really light and guarantees highest wearing comfort. It‘s dry when it‘s wet – it‘s warm when it‘s cold! Recycled Fabric. We created two products made of recycled fabrics. For the first product line old jeans are used as ressource. Machines shred the old jeans into small pieces. After washing the threads are processed and spun together into high-quality, robust and recycled cotton yarn. For the second product line we used a yarn which is made of 50% recycled PET bottles. Dralon® provides softness and warmth. This synthetical fiber ensures stability and shape retention. But it doesn‘t only keeps your accessory in shape, it guarantees a high lightfastness in any colour. Moreover products made of Dralon® are crease-resistant, easy to clean and are quick to dry.
Acrylic fabrics dehumidify very quickly. The synthetical fibre provides in cold weather excellent insulation and warmth. It is not only warmer than a lot of other fabrics, as for example cotton, it is also really light. Therefore products made of acrylic have a high wearing comfort.
Cotton is a natural fiber which is warm and comfortable. Cotton absorbes a lot of unwanted moisture. Therefore it is best as an outside layer in combination with a breathable fiber on the inside, such as Polycolon®.

ThinsulateTM insulation works by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The more air a material traps in a given space, the greater its insulating value. Because the microfibres in ThinsulateTM insulation are far finer than other fibres, they trap more air in less space, which naturally makes it a better insulator.

Our quick dry jacquard fabric is very breathable. The composition of 95% polyester and 5% lycra makes sure every product has a very high wearing comfort. The polyester ensures durability, moisture transport and will keep you warm. The 5% lycra ensures elasticity which guarantees a perfect fit. Everything started in the South of Switzerland. Some of our products are still hand-crocheted in the beautiful valley called Wallis. Surrounded by the highest mountains of Switzerland, our grandma, mother and friends are still working daily on some of the nicest products we have (available only in Switzerland. Made in Europe! – this counts for the biggest part of our products. We are working intensly together with a small family-owned business closed to Łódź. The quality standards in Poland are incredibly high. With our common passion for accessories and highly functional fabrics we definitely pushed our products to the next level. For years we are working successfully in India. Some of our best neckwarmers are made in the South of India, where temperatures are really high all year around. This effort, the nice fabrics and the longstanding experience ensure we can produce the finest head wear you can find on the market.

Reversible! - Flip your product inside out and you have a different colour way!
Ergo-fit – This product has a very special style to make sure it fits better to your head or body shape. The ergo-fit ensures a higher functionality than other comparable products on the market. Lining – An additional fleece lining guarantees a even higher wearing comfort. We use a very fine and warm polyester polar fleece which makes sure you can stay much longer out in the cold. Fits under your helmet! – Exactly. Stay safe out there and wearing a helmet is the way to go. To look cooler in your helmet & to make you stay out longer in the mountains we created several products which fit perfectly under your helmet.

Level 1 warmth – This product will keep you warm but not necessarely on the coldest of winter‘s days. It is meant for the spring days in the park where the wind might be still cold and the sun is getting strong every day. Additionally, this product is perfect for hiking and mountain tours, where you want to wear light fabrics.

Level 2 warmth – This product will keep you warm and cozy for nearly every kind of condition during a winter. The majority of our products regarding warmth are level 2. From the first to the last snowfall you will be happy with a product of level 2.

Level 3 warmth – This product is meant for the outdoor enthusiasts which don‘t mind to go out when it‘s icy cold. Are you somebody who doesn‘t mind to shred some powder when the sun is not shining and it‘s stormy? Than this is your level! The cold has no chance with one of these products!

Polycolon® Technology
POLYCOLON® has become essential to the world of demanding sports clothing. Lightweight, breathable and sweat-repellent – just a few of the strengths demonstrated by this functional fibre from Schoeller. We use POLYCOLON® as the first layer for our team collection. It absorbs the body moisture of the skin and transports it into the layer above. The second layer is made of 50% acrylic and 50% cotton. This combination of synthetic and natural fiber absorbes, evaporates and dissipates moisture. The skin feels pleasantly dry, even if the person wearing it sweats. Our team POLYCOLON® collection was developed together with our team of professional athletes. Most of the year they are out there and know exactly what makes their experience in the harsh winter conditions more comfortable. In the same time they always have to perform on a very high level. MADE IN SWITZERLAND EDITION
We launched hä? in 2006 with hand-crocheted beanies and headbands. All these years, we have never moved away from making a part of our collection in our beautiful Valais, as we did in the beginning. Now we have finally done it and are launching an entire collection for the coming season. The „Made in Switzerland“ collection is produced here in Valais. It‘s made from sustainable fabrics. We are working with various local companies and plan to expand the collection with unique products in the long term. Stay tuned for more!
