ご挨拶 / EDITORIAL Bienvenue au Petit coin de France, un rendez-vous original, qui renouvelle les modes de rencontres entre artistes et programmateurs. Pour la seconde année consécutive, l’Onda – Office national de diffusion artistique, l’Institut français du Japon à Yokohama et le TPAM – Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama ont choisi d’unir leurs forces pour améliorer la visibilité des artistes français au Japon. Le TPAM est le contexte idéal pour mettre en relation les programmateurs, particulièrement ceux travaillant dans la zone asiatique, et les compagnies que nous avons choisi d’accompagner. Plateforme d’échanges, le TPAM rassemble chaque année des professionnels du monde entier venus se rencontrer et découvrir de nouveaux spectacles. Les Salons d’artistes du Petit coin de France, proposent un espace convivial de rencontre avec six équipes françaises. Les artistes que vous allez rencontrer illustrent la vitalité de la création contemporaine française ; ils déplacent les limites entre les champs artistiques et recomposent de nouvelles esthétiques. Les 15 et 16 février, L’Amicale de production, Camille Boitel, Vincent Dupont, Groupe Entorse, Maud Le Pladec et Philippe Quesne présenteront leurs démarches artistiques et leurs projets de création aux programmateurs réunis en petits groupes qui circulent d’un salon à l’autre et découvrent ainsi les univers artistiques des équipes qui font l’actualité de la scène contemporaine française. Nous vous offrons ainsi une occasion unique de découvrir le travail de ces compagnies afin d’améliorer encore les échanges et d’intensifier la circulation des œuvres dans le cadre de tournées à dimension régionale.

Welcome to the Petit coin de France, an original event that offers a fresh approach to meetings between artists and programmers. For the second consecutive year, Onda – French Office for Contemporary Performing Arts Circulation, the Institut français du Japon à Yokohama and TPAM – Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama have chosen to join forces to enhance the visibility of French artists in Japan. TPAM is the ideal context for bringing together programmers, particularly those working in the Asian region, and the companies we have chosen to support. As a platform for exchange, TPAM annually draws professionals from all around the world to meet and to discover new performances. The Petit coin de France ice-breakers provide a relaxed setting in which to meet six French companies. The artists you are to meet exemplify the vitality of French contemporary creation; they shift the boundaries between the art fields and recompose new aesthetics. These companies present their artistic approaches and production projects to programmers gathered in small groups that go from one ice-breaker to another and discover the artistic worlds of companies who are at the forefront of the contemporary French scene. This unique opportunity to discover the work of six French companies will serve to further improve exchanges and intensify the circulation of works in the framework of regional tours. We expect to see you attending in large numbers and will make every effort to ensure that projects are realised.

プロデューサーのための交流の場「アーティスト・サロン」 は、 フランスの舞台芸術の最前線で活躍す
Designed for programmers, the Ice-breakers bring together six artistic teams at the forefront of the French artistic scene. These Ice-breakers offer an exceptional moment of exchange during which the artists or their representatives will present their artistic process and productions. Gathered in small groups of programmers, you will be able to go from one ice-breaker to another and meet all the teams attending the event. Through discussions illustrated with videos of the latest productions of these artists active in the contemporary French scene, you will discover each team’s unique world.

Antoine Defoort, Halory Georger and Julien Fournet form the trio at the head of L’Amicale de production, a cross-disciplinary artistic workshop straddling the world of entertainment, fine arts and performance, in which their research focuses on producing hybrid forms. L’Amicale de production is a small-scale operation, neither a theatre company nor a producer company but a cooperative project. In recent years they have created a wide variety of projects, shows, publications or videos, whether duos, solos or collaborations with other artists. After making rotten apples sing (Métrage variable in 2004), green plants (& in 2008) and tennis balls (Cheval in 2008), Antoine Defoort and Halory Georger recently premiered a new show in September 2012 at Focus danse, during the Dance Biennial in Lyon: Germinal, a homemade epic created with the simplest of means. L’Amicale de production is based in Lille (France) and Brussels (Belgium).
An award winner at the first edition of the Jeunes Talent Cirque operation, he premiered L’Homme de Hus in 2003. Alongside this show, he staged several short forms including Variation comique (La Villette, Paris, December 2003), AI, JB, DF (Les Subsistances, Lyon, June 2004). After the tour of L’Homme de Hus, he devoted all his time to a new artistic adventure, a show combining theatre, circus, dance and object manipulation, L’Immédiat, premiered in June 2009 at the Théâtre de la Cité Internationale. Since 2011, Camille Boitel has been preparing a complementary project to L’Immédiat. It is based on variations and extensions around immediacy: the gaming machine, the calamitous cabaret and the lecture on jubilation, three non-theatrical processes developed from the material of L’Immédiat, approaching the relationship with the audience from a new angle. To be premiered in early 2013.

ヴァンサン・デュポンは、俳優としてキャリアをスタートさせたのち、 ティエリー・ティユ＝ニアンとジョル
2007 年から、様々なジャンルのアーティスト （ダンサー、役者、照明デザイナーなど） と協働してきた
ジュ・アペーとともに舞踊界にデビュー。 その後ボリス・シャルマッツとも仕事をしている。

2001年、初の振付作品となる 「Jachères improvisations」 を発表。 造型美術家スタン・ダグラスによる
作品やパフォーマンスを発表している。集団のダイナミズムにおいて、演者一人ひとりをどうやって作品
インスタレーション作品を撮影した写真に着想を得たものである。以後、常に他のアーティストの
内に位置づけるのかを常に考えている。 それは観客の興味を演者一人ひとりから逸らすためであるが、

それよりさらに、 音楽、 舞台美術、 照明などのモチーフに、 踊る身体同様の重要性を見ているからである。
作品作りに挑んでおり、 そうすることで舞踊芸術に関するあらゆる定義を問い直させる。彼の作品は
2010年に発表された「 ACCIDENS (ce qui arrive)」 で扱われているのは、回復能力の問題である。

Initially an actor, Vincent Dupont began his career in dance with Thierry Thieu-Niang and Georges Appaix before working with Boris Charmatz. In 2001, he did his first choreography, Jachères Improvisations, inspired by a photo of an installation by the artist Stan Douglas. From then on, while continuing to participate in other artists’ shows, he pursued projects combining several mediums (choreography, installations, performances) which shift the expected definitions of the choreographic art. His pieces present themselves as experiences, questions addressed to the spectator’s perception. After Hauts Cris (Miniature), Incantus, Plongée, Souffles, Bine and L’Étang Suspendu, he is currently preparing Air, inspired by a short film by Jean Rouch.
Since 2007, Raphaëlle Latini and Samuel Lefeuvre have collaborated with various artists (dancers/actors/lighting designers) to create shows and performances that combine and connect choreography, music and scenography. Generating a collective dynamic, they question the role of each contributor to the show, to shift the spectator’s attention to each one, notably to give as much importance to the music, scenography and lighting design as to the physical states treated in the choreography. In ACCIDENS (Ce Qui Arrive) (2010), they examine the notion of resilience, or the ability of an organism to recover from a traumatic experience, all the while developing systems of interaction between dance, music and light that make this show a living experience, a material created right before the spectators’ eyes. Through “[àut]” (2012), they question personal perceptions of reality, relative for each individual, by pushing their investigation of interactivity even further.

After completing the Ex.e.r.ce training at the Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier, Maud Le Pladec performed in pieces by Emmanuelle Vo Dinh, Loïc Touzé and Latifa Laâbissi, George Appaix, Mathilde Monnier, Herman Diephuis and Boris Charmatz. In 2010, she created Professor, which won the Syndicat de la Critique’s “Choreographic Revelation” prize. This piece was subsequently readapted in a live version in May 2012 in collaboration with Ensemble Ictus. She then premiered Poetry in 2011, the second part of a diptych based on the music of Fausto Romitelli. In 2013, Maud Pladec is an award winner for the Hors les Murs programme of the Institut français in New York. She has also continued her work as a performer, working with Boris Charmatz (La Levée des Conflits, Enfant) and Mette Ingvartsen (The Artificial Nature Project).
The visual artist and designer Philippe Quesne founded Vivarium Studio in 2003, bringing together actors, visual artists and musicians. He devises shows from stage devices that are so many “vivarium spaces” for the study of human microcosms. His shows are performed in many countries in the framework of international co-productions. He recently created Pièce pour la technique du Schauspiel Hanover (2011), was invited by the Pavilion of the Palais de Tokyo to work on a production with artists and curators in residence (2012) and contributed to a collective production at Hebbel am Ufer (2012). In 2013,

he premieres Anamorphosis アナモルフォーシス in Japan. Alongside these activities, Philippe Quesne creates performances and installations as well as curating the programme of the TJCC Festival (festival of very young contemporary artists) at the Théâtre de Gennevilliers (2012 and 2013 editions). Anamorphosis by Philippe Quesne is presented during TPAM (see p.18)

フィリップ・ケーヌ TPAM in Yokohama 2013 では、 による 「アナモルフォーシス」 とモー・ル・プラデックによる 「Professor」 が上演されます。 これら２つのフランス公演は、 アンスティチュ・フランセの支援 のもと、 アンスティチュ・フランセ日本と国際舞台芸術ミーティ ング in 横浜2013実行委員会がお届けします。
France is also represented at TPAM by two French productions, Anamorphosis by Philippe Quesne and Professor by Maud Le Pladec. The performances are presented by Institut Français du Japon, Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama 2013 Executive Committee, with the support of Institut Français.

Onda encourages and supports the dissemination of contemporary forms of performing arts. Its scope of intervention covers all disciplines, for works produced in France or abroad, whether for adults or young audiences. To perform this mission, it mobilises a vast network of dissemination structures and artistic teams in France, Europe and abroad, organises meetings to promote artistic exchange or reflection, advises programmers on their artistic choices, guides artistic teams in identifying opportunities and financially supports the circulation of productions within France. Onda has been funded by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication since its creation in 1975.

On 1 September 2012, the Tokyo-Yokohama, Kyoto and Fukuoka establishments merged with the Cultural Service of the Embassy of France to form the Institut français du Japon! Cultural exchanges have been at the heart of Franco-Japanese relations since the Meiji era. The original spirit of cooperation is preserved today through strong partnerships with the most important Japanese institutions while also actively addressing contemporary artists. The IFJ programmes more than 300 cultural projects a year to propose the best of French culture. The IFJ cooperates daily with the 5 Alliance Française establishments in Japan, the Maison Franco-Japonaise, the French International School in Tokyo and the Kansai French school. Together they form a unique network in Japan, working in close collaboration with Japanese cultural actors.

TPAMは、1995 年に「芸術見本市」 として開始。 「 見本市＝Market 」の名の通り、舞台芸術作品の 「東芸術見本市」 と改称し、同時代的舞台芸術に携わる 流通促進を目的としていましたが、2005年に プロフェッショナルのネットワーク構築により重点を置くようになりました。2011年に会場を横浜に と改称。略称「TPAM」は保持しつつ、 「M」 を 「Market 」 移し 「国際舞台芸術ミーティング in 横浜」 としました。情報交換、 ネットワーキング、相互学習、議論、交流のための国際的 から改め「Meeting」 プラットフォームとして機能することを目指しています。

TPAM was founded in 1995. Originally, it was called the Tokyo Performing Arts Market but in 2005, TPAM decided to refocus its activity on developing professional networking in the performing arts. In 2011, TPAM moved to Yokohama and became the Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama, however, it held on to the recognised acronym of TPAM. It now operates as a platform for information exchange and networking, as well as a place of learning and a discussion forum.
