Bridges between students and companies WHY OTD STUDENTS?
For nine years OTD Students has been a central part of the OTD exhibition. Offshore Media Group is the company behind OTD and has taken the responsibility to help the industry attract the best graduating students within the oil- gas and energy industry. By showing the possibilities of the Norwegian Continental Shelf, both national and international, students have been able to build their network and learn more about the developing industry. OTD Students vision is to build bridges between companies within the oil- gas and energy sector, together with students with relevant education for this industry. The companies need talented students, and the participants on the other hand, are about to start their career. At our dedicated area for OTD Students you can join the biggest and best meeting place there is for this purpose.
SEPARATE AREA FOR STUDENTS
During OTD Student a large area will be dedicated to give students and current employees in the industry the opportunity of introducing themselves to the companies. The lounge is divided into stands which will create the right atmosphere. The recruitment lounge will be open to all visitors during OTD, but the focus will be directed towards students and young employees.

OTD Student is the largest recruitment area in Norway. It is not just a corner in the exhibition halls, but a separated area with lounges, exhibiting stand, a stage and a pulsating atmosphere. It is like a fully exhibition on its own, inside the OTD.

Meet the OTD Students Committee OTD Students Committee consists of dedicated students that want to make Offshore Technology Days (OTD) attractive for the most talented students within the oil-gas and energy sector. Their vision is to create bridges between students and companies. This way students can find their dream job and companies can find their perfect candidate.
Here is a short presentation of the members of the OTD Students Committee: MARTIN BIRKELAND Committee Chairman Martin is studying Subsea Technology at Bergen University College. He is member of the Student Society for Subsea Engineers and member of the academic student committee.
WILLIAM EDLAND Operational Manager William is studying Subsea Technology at Bergen University College. He is also chairman at the Student Society for Subsea Engineers.
TORBJØRN LARSEN Event Manager Torbjørn Larsen just finished his Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering at Bergen University College with main focus in structural mechanics.
MORTEN SÆTRE Logistic Manager Morten has a Bachelor degree in Economy from Bergen University College. Spring of 2015 he will start his Master’s degree in Economy at the Norwegian School of Economics.
PATRICK TELLE SÆBY Communcation Manager Patrick is studying CEMS Master in Management at the Norwegian School of Economics. During his studies he volunteered at several big student arrangements in Bergen.
