Rationale
As typography addict and designer, I see letter forms in many aspects and forms in our lives, architecture for example, is not only a structure that is built for the purpose of living and accommodation, it could be seen as typographic language that we could utilize in graphic design world. This booklet is a collection of letter forms extracted from architectural monuments and unique buildings around the world. On daily bases, we look at houses, buildings and monuments around us, but barely realize that we could create letters out of them, which create a beautifully designed integration between architecture world and typography. The curvature of every bridge, historical statue, house, arch and dome have grabbed my eyes in every country that I have visited. This booklet is a chance to reflect those beautifully designed architecture pieces into letter-forms. Arranging the elements of architecture in this book into type sounds to be like an art that could be used in several forms in graphic design, it is an inspirational start and technique for many publications. It is a material where we prove that typography is not digital nor something inherited from history, it is the coincidence that we see and go through and a creative way of communication through the appearance of attractive letter forms.
