J- 5 Photo-book
EXOTIC COLORED TEXTURES &PATTERNS IN MELBOURNE OLD HOUSES I have been traveling a lot in the past seven years. As a person who is passionate about colors in different exotic textures, either in food, skins, architecture and landscapes. I used to try to capture a lot of these beautiful elements, yet, nothing would keep them precious and designed like creating a designed photo-book. Moving to Melbourne has empowered this sense of looking for unique colors, as the old houses look very sophisticated to my eye. I started going around and zoom in with my digital camera. The results, were surprisingly amazing, in every element of the house, I would find a nicely made brick, window, chair, doors, frame, paint, and wall lamps. In this photo-book, I make a sequences of what my eye has captures, starting from doors, fences, then windows and some textured walls. My aim is that this book could be used a way of color pallet inspiration for painters, and as a tool to show the beauty of Melbourne houses. One of the reasons this idea was graping my eye is that, I am a watercolorist, working with color, make me always want to look for new combinations and swatches as references for paintings, I think this book works well as reference for different painters to have a completely new color pallets. I dedicated it to my parents who taught me how to be a good eye and look for artistic and design elements. And to my husband who has been supporting me in every step of the journey.
