Architectural Styles

Georgian Style

It’s an architectural style with symmetry, balance, and proportion that started in the 18th century in England. This design is most popular in the Northeast, mostly in New England.


Federal Style

This style is based on looking classical. Most have brick on the houses but not all do. Gives an old look to it while being vintage.


Greek Revival Style

This style orginated in Europe and quickly spread to the US. Took a greek inspiration and made it into various buildings. The style started to get popular aound 1820.


Italianate Style

This style is more based off the renaissance times in early Europe. Low pitched roofs. Some are more simple while others are designed more of a modern look to it.


Victorian Style

The style came from queen victorian herself. This orgianted from Britian. This style is a more fancy over the time design style.


Praire Style

This style is more laid back and calming. Has low laying roofs. With lots of windows for natural lighting.


Craftsman Style

This style gives a homey cozy feeling. A modern look to it. Normally have big front porches with layered roofs.


Ranch Style

This style would be fore more country type of houses. Gives a cozy warm feeling. Mostly wooden with arches roofs.


Shed Style

This style is based on a “shed” look thats how it got its name. Slanted roofs. Again mostly wood. More of a isloated type of look.


A-Frame Style

This style has a triangle roof. Mostly wooden with big windows to allow natural lighting. A different modern unique looking style.


Geodesic Style

This style is circular roof and complete buliding. More of a unrealistic house to live in. Lots of open windows for good lighting all day. Unique look. Not common.
