Georgian Georgian homes are usually square or rectangular. These homes are brick and very symmetrical. Georgian homes tend to have grand entrances. These grand entrances include features like arches, pediments, and columns. Overall, Georgian homes are pretty classy.


Federal Federal homes are typically square or rectangular. These houses are made of brick and pretty bland. Federal homes have plenty of windows in the front of the house. This house style tends to look like Georgian homes.


Greek Revival Greek Revival homes are inspired by the Greek temples. These houses have columns and have an old look to them. Greek Revival homes are usually white and also resemble the White House.


Italianate Italianate homes are distinguished by their gently sloping roofs and deep overhanging eaves, which are seemingly supported by a row of decorative brackets, or corbels. Italianate homes have tall, rounded windows. The houses are usually made of brick, stone, or stucco.


Victorian Victorian homes have a lot to them; a lot of details are found outside these homes. A main feature of the Victorian homes are their bay windows. These houses were made a while ago and show that you have money.


Prairie Prairie homes tend to be modern. These homes are usually one or two stories high and a low-pitched roof. Prairie homes have a lot of lights. These homes were also inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement.


Craftsman Craftsman homes usually have a porch and square or round columns. These homes have triangle and low roofs. Craftsman homes also have exposed beams.


Ranch Ranch homes are one-story houses with an open layout. Some of these houses are built on concrete slabs. Ranch homes are rectangular and sometimes have a porch.


Shed Shed homes are like no other. The roofs of these houses are complex and different than the average home. The house can be made out of a variety of different materials.


A-Frame A-Frame homes have a different style. The roof of the house makes an “A” and also makes up two of the walls. This house may be beautiful, but it isn’t fit for a family.


Geodesic Geodesic homes are shaped like a globe. This style is used for other buildings as well. Geodesic homes can be made out of a lot of materials, but usually steel or wood.
