Georgian Style The georgian Style is very classy. Most of the time this style will have columns and lots of windows. This style is very similar to many Colonial Revival homes.


Federal Style Federal Style homes are very similar to Georgian. They also tend to have columns. This style uses bricks on the outside to add texture. Many windows will also be found in this style too.


Greek Revival Greek Revival homes tend to look more european. They have natral or light colors, lots of windows, an very large columns. This style is very elegant and bold.


Italianate The Italianate style usally has red tilled roofs, and nuetral colors. The windows tend to have a curve to them, ad so do the door ways. Many people think, it looks like a spanish style.


Victorian Vicroiran homes are very extravagent. They are usally painted with very bold colors. Victorian homes have lostt of fine detail, and typically the roof is mancerd. The windows also tend to be curved.


Colonial Revival This style came from the salt box house, and its very simiar to the cape cod home. Colonial Revival homes tend to have small windows, and ar neutral in color. most homes in this style are 2-3 stories.


Prairie Created by Frank Llyod Wright, the praire style is very natral in colors. Its supoosed to give the effect that its hidden in nature. Usally this style has small windows and some sort or texture, like stone.


Craftsman This is a very common home. This style is suported by columns and tends to be lighter in color. The roof is usally a low pitched gable roof. Craftsman homes are very simple, and a lot of the time are more then one story.


Ranch The ranch home was mainly designed for people with families. They are typically one story so it makes it easy for families with young children. These homes are usally very long to make uo fot the fact they are olny one level


Ched The biggest give away to this style is the roof. Ched houses tend to have diffenet angles roofs. The windows are small. This style of home was popular in the 1960s and was created by Charles Moore and Robert Ventum.


A-Frame A-Frame homes are exactly what they sound like. This style of home looks like an A. This house is usally found in colder places, and has a contuinues gable roof. This style cant be added onto.


Geodesic Dome Geodesic houses are one large open space. They are very flexably with their floor plans, and they use very little building materials. The rooms is usally round and ccurved and meant to look like a dome.
