Victorian Style Victorian style was to show that the person had money. This is an older architecture style. This style has mansard roofing and curved windows. This architecture was also known as doll houses.
Geodesic Dome Style Geodesic Dome architecture is a dome shaped buliding, almost like an igloo. Geodesic dome bulidings, are light wieght and strong. Geodesic domes are also very easy to bulid.
A-Frame Style The A- frame architecture is a house or buliding with an a shape roof. Many times you wil find these in the mountains or snowy areas because snow easily just rolls off of the roof instead of piling up. These roofs are very slanted and unique.
Craftman Style The craftman style is an architecture style that is more focused on the materials of the buliding. Craftman style is known for lowpitched gabled roofing with broad eaves, large front porches and exposed wooden structal elements. You can find many craftman style homes in the suburbs.
Federal Style Federal style is a rectangle or box housing with two to three stories. Federal style usually has two chimneys and is usually made out of brick. Federal style is a very simple architecture design.
Prairie Style Prairie architecture is a house bulit on a hill, the buliding almost blends into the hill. The architecture design is by Frank Lloyd Wright. This architecture focuses on nature.
Ranch Style Ranch style architecture is a simple architecture design, ranch style consist of one floor and many times a basemnt. The purpose for ranch style architecture is often for more yard space.
italianate Style italianate style is an architecture style orginally from italy. This type of style consists of flat roofs and many square shapes. italianate also deep overhanging eaves, which are usually decorated by brackets or corbels.
Shed Style
Shed architecture style was created by Charles Moore and Robert Venturi. This architecture makes use of single-slope roofs and their roofs consists of diagonal roofs. Most shed style bulidings consists of 2 to 3 stories.
