Single Room Design
6
Project Description
This project had a challenge of completing a single room of another person’s choice, along with a table, also designed by another designer, that needed to be incorporated in the space. This required mashing personal aesthetic along with the aesthetic shown in the table. Given no other design restrictions, the rest of the room was all free reign.
Interpretation
To make sure the aesthetic of the table was included, the theme and decorations of the room were based around it. The fabrics mostly consist of the white and golden colors fo the table, while the lighting and smaller decorations represent the teal colors. This room is meant to feel very elegant and mature, but also fun and warm.

3-D Model

Project Description
This project was a fun challenge of working of other designers. Each designer designed one room, then once all four were finished, the task was to put the rooms together to create a single floor home. Once the floor plan was done, the final steps were to build the interior and exterior walls with poster board and create a sample board.
Interpretation
Since the bathroom and bedroom both need privacy, an open floor design and big windows were added to make the space a feel a little bigger. The red and black color scheme was used to make the space professional looking but also very mature and comforting.

Working with a Client Project Description
10
The purpose of this project was to understand how to do work for a client. That includes putting personal aesthetic aside and using the aesthetic of the client. Another challenge of this project was to get everything the client wanted, all while staying around a budget. An important piece of this project was communication with the client to make sure that everything was on track. The biggest goal of the project was the selling of the room to the client through sample boards.
Interpretation
The client wanted a space to get ready and just relax. It helped in the beginning that the client already knew the color theme and flooring. In order to accent the indigo in the room, lots of natural lighting and bright decorations were used to make the space lighter.

Project Description
The goal of this project was to bring all the skills learned in Interior Design II to a show. The home needs to represent a showing of personal aesthetic, design ability, craftsmanship, and presentation skills. The requirements were to have samples, hand drawn floor plans, as well as a digital walkthroughs of each room. The first floor of the home includes designs of a foyer, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a patio, a laundry room, a powder room, and a three car garage.
Interpretation
In order to include all these details, the first step was to design the home online. This made it easy to make changes before the final draft and also make sure every room was designed as wanted. The final steps were to draw the floor plans, and collect & display samples. The overall feel of the first floor is to be open, bright, and welcoming.
