Not a family type house. Lots of windows

Different materials throughout the build. Looks more decorated.


Federal

In honor of the Federal Government


Geodesic

Flexible floor plans. Less building materials. Not a lot of windows.


Greek rivival

Usually a rectangle shape. There is big columns in front of it.


Italiante

Skinny rectangle kind of build. Usually has archways.


Prairie Prairie- Flat hill is where it’s usually built. It blends with nature.


Ranch Largest lots is where it’s built. It was popular in between the 1950’s and 1960’s. Spread out floor plan.


shed Shed- Popular in the 1960’s. Built and designed by Charles Moore and Robert Venturi. Looks like a shed but liveable.


Victorian

Has a mansard roof. Big and Tall. Lots of Windows. Built during the reign of Queen Victoria


Georgian

This particular house was popular in the 1700’s to 1800’s. Back then it was to show off the money
