and side cover. Remove the seat. Because of how close I would be working to the starter terminal I decided to play safe and also remove the battery ground cable. Start by attaching the Hex Arm to the Starter Mounting Bracket. Remove the stock starter bolts. Slide bolt through heims joint and arm spacer and then through frame hole. Install washer and 3/8 lock nut on inside of frame bracket. Make sure joint is in the center of the ball and Tighten

ven though Harley redesigned their frame for 2009 to provide a more stabile ride many feel that the addition of a third stabilizer is still needed to prevent frame flex and rubber mounted motor oscillation. The new unit comes in Black or Polished and is made of CNC Machined Aluminum; it has Stainless Steel Hardware. It is Designed, Machined, and Assembled in the USA! Its top side mounting makes for easy installation by all with some basic hand tools. I used a 3/8 drive ratchet, 10 inch 3/8 extension, 7/32
inch allen socket, 1/4 inch long allen socket and 2 - 9/16 box open combination wrenches and 10 mm wrench for battery terminal.
Install starter mounting bracket using the longer bolts supplied in the kit.
Tighten heims lock nuts using 2 9/16 wrenches. Wipe fingerprints off parts and go
Adjust the arm being sure the jam nut on the bracket side does not touch bracket. Use the bolt supplied for the right side heims joint to line up that side. Bolt should slide through joint and Hex Hole in frame with out binding. for a ride. For more information on Alloy Art go to www.alloyart.com or phone 626-963-5021

Strings & Things at H&D Roadhouse S
ince 2005, Sue Luley has presented, Strings & Things, a benefit event to collect musical instruments and equipment to donate to schools by Miserable to help children George realize their musical opportunities, where they otherwise might not be able to do so. On March 21 and 22, 2015, $3000 was added to the $102,000 that has already been realized through Sue’s
efforts, along with 4 guitars, strings, a keyboard, several drumheads, and an African single string instrument, which was hauled there on a bike! The weather was perfect for a run, in which over 30 bikes participated, ending at H&D Roadhouse, on Merritt Island, where everyone was fed and treated to live music all day long. A big THANKS to Sue, Harry and Deb from H&D, and their staff, and, everyone who made this event a success...we had a blast‌!!! Miserable George Old School Biker

Wounded Warrior Project at Space Coast HD O
n March 28th, 2015 Space Coast Harley Davidson presented Brian Torres with a new 2015 Limited Edition bagger. by ValGal Wahoo for Brian, you went through so much defending our country! You deserve it! A little about Brian Torres... Brian served in the United States Army in the 3rd Infantry Division. He completed three combat tours to Iraq. As a result of these tours for our country, he has hearing loss and was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Brian has been riding motorcycles since he was a kid. It’s an activity he loves to do with his brother. He couldn’t wait to one day be able to enjoy that activity with his brother again. Brian currently works for Florida Wildlife — an opportunity that came about because of his participation in Wounded Warrior Project’s TRACK program in Jacksonville, FL.. Brian also participates in the Wounded Warrior Project Peer Support program as a peer mentor. He attributes his current success to his involvement with WWP saying that the TRACK program is “probably the best thing I ever did.” It was an honor to be there on this great day and meet face to face one of our heroes of war...Thank you ALL for ALL you do!...God Bless AMERICA! Ride of the Month - Cedar Key
by staff
i
f you like bright lights and big city, Cedar Key is not for you. If you like long country roads and small towns that time forgot, then Cedar Key will fit the bill. Located west of Gainesville on the Gulf of Mexico, Cedar Key is one of our favorite rides. There are lots of ways to get to US19/98 where you want to pick up FL 24 Westbound about 12 miles south of Chiefland. Follow FL 24 West for about 21 miles and you are in scenic Cedar Key. We usually get a hotel here, have a nice dinner, and head north along the Gulf Coast the next day, but that’s another ride, for another day. If you like old, rustic, native Florida, you don’t want to miss this one. Ride Safe

4th Annual Bin Run i
got kinda a late start on April 4th., BUT, I managed to make it to the starting point of the BIG 4th. Annual B.I.N. Run, at the BCC parking area next by Miserable to Wickham Park George Pavilion, before the huge column began to move out! WHEW! That was a chore... BUT, we made it. We got a perfect spot out by I.95 to shoot the column of over 250 bikes, led by the Brevard Co. Sheriff’s Dept Motor Corp, and may I say right here, those guys did a fabulous job... no problems all the way to Malabar, where Legion Post 117 was waiting for the riders. Their spacious grounds included a clubhouse, pavilion, shaded picnic tables, a large scenic pond, lots of parking, food, give-aways, and BIG DADDY’s BAND!!! Plenty of vendors too! I believe over 3 large barrels of canned food were collected... bikers are a generous lot, especially when it comes to taking care of their own! Papa Bear was certainly smiling down on this event... he used to LOVE this run. Thanks to Mama Bear, and all her staff for an excellent day out in the beautiful Florida sunshine... all for a REAL GOOD cause! Miserable George

Bike of the Month - ‘98 Sportster Chopper When I got the scoot, it was a stock ‘98 1200 sportster S model and has had many changes since the day I got it. I have always ridden this bike, so chopping was done little by little until a head on collision forced an awaited chopper. Friends, family and my club brothers made the Paughco rigid frame appear immediately after the accident. Parts came from everywhere including the sissy bar from a buddy Jingles (RIP), who finally gave it up when seeing my mangled bike. A good and very talented friend @ Elizabeth Dibois hand painted the Frank Frazetta recreation on the gas tank. My bike wouldn’t be capable of years of miles, wheelies and burnouts if it wasn’t for good friends, family, Scott and Sally at Sally’s Bargain Barn, my club brothers. ML&R to anyone that’s helped me keep riding. HLFFHL KP

19th Annual Prisoner Benefit Run i
t was back in 1994, that Brother Chuckles was released from the Graybar Hotel. He thought a lot about the problem of often obtaining much needed items while he was down. You know, stuff like good soap, cigarettes, toothpaste, and other toilet articles….things that we all take for granted. He thought about many of his friends and Brothers who were still by Miserable on the inside, George and decided that maybe he, (and his Bros on the outside), could maybe devise a benefit run to raise a little capital for the Bros still inside…. the Prisoner Benefit Run was born! It wasn’t til 1997 that the first one actually took place in West Melbourne, and, it was an instant success! Many clubs were represented, there was a very nice crowd, food, music... the works!! If memory serves me right, I think I remember bike games too... a fun day all around! On April 4, 2015, at Station 23, the 19th. Prisoner Benefit Run took
22
place. Nice crowd, again, many other clubs represented, live internet music, some exceptional food, Brotherhood, and, my neck got a bit achey just turning my head to eye-ball all the beautiful babes prancing around the
clubhouse! Ya know, I’ve spoken to inmates who have actually benefitted from this program, so, it’s working, and working well! I wish the day would come when there would be no need for an event like this, but, until that happens, the Brothers will keep remembering those behind bars, and try to make things easier for them. Hey, we’ll see ya next time... ride safe… Miserable George

Saints MC After Daytona Party B
ike Week in Daytona is really fun, but, at my age, it gets tiresome... all the running around, driving back and forth, eating by Miserable crappy George “food”, fighting the crowds, the dust, and the noise... after this strenuous activity, I need a long rest. Well, the Saints MC have a little gathering called the “After Daytona Party”, at their digs in Cocoa, Fl. Food, music, friends, for a nice afternoon of relaxation. Thanks guys, and gals, it was fun… Miserable George

’m thinking about cutting my hair and getting a Goldwing. One of the bright yellow ones, with the training wheels.
Cut off all this old long gray hair, it’s always such a pain in the ass, really, sometimes I even sit on it. Get rid of this old beat up leather jacket and this old patch covered vest to get one of those fancy
yellow outfits with the yellow helmet to match my new bike. I can get rid of all these old faded black t-shirts and get some nice polyester ones with some color in them. While I’m at it I guess I should get some new jeans, with fewer holes and less grease stains. I won’t have to haul these tools around anymore, if I have a problem I’ll just run down to the Honda shop. I guess I’ll head down to the Honda shop now and see what they have in stock.
