Welcome a word from the Presidents

T

he Presidents of the 2016 Christ’s May Ball are delighted to welcome you to our event, Biophilia. Enjoy College as it comes alive!

“NATURE HOLDS THE KEY TO OUR AESTHETIC, INTELLECTUAL, COGNITIVE AND EVEN SPIRITUAL SATISFACTION.” Edward O. Wilson

Step into Christ’s tonight as the place becomes overgrown and you fall down a surrealist rabbit hole. Humans become animals, and buildings come alive in an attempt to bring you, our guests, closer to nature and the other-worldly side of your existence. Expect the natural, but also the more surreal, side of life as you enjoy our food, our drinks, our acts, and, most importantly, our atmosphere. Trust us, it grows on you. hat we can say for sure is that Christ’s first court today is a different universe to when college was founded in 1505. Indeed, Darwin, if he were sitting in his old room, would be proud.
