Today we will begin our celebration of the August 13th Festival of the Moravian Church as we remember the spiritual renewal of the Moravian Church that took place on August 13, 1727. This morning’s service will include the celebration of Holy Communion. All who profess Christ as Lord and Saviour are invited to partake. The pastor and acolytes will distribute the wafer and juice to you in the pew and after all have been served, we will partake together. We hope you experience God’s blessing in your time with us today and throughout this week. We also hope you will return and worship with us again.

Homemade Ice Cream Social and Missions Night -- Tonight Tonight at 5:00 PM, we will meet in the Fellowship Hall for a Homemade Ice Cream Supper, followed by presentations from some of our members who have gone on various mission and other trips this year. (RAINDATE = August 18) The August 13th Festival of The Moravian Church Next Sunday we continue our celebration of the August 13th Festival with a lovefeast. Youth Fellowship Begins – Sunday, August 30th We begin a new year of Youth Fellowship with our Youth Fellowship Cookout on Sunday, August 30th. This cookout is for all of our young people in the third grade through the twelfth grade and their friends. The cookout will begin at 6:00 PM. Plan to attend and bring a friend!

The tournament is a four-person team captain’s choice event. The cost is $180 per team ($45 per person) and there are also opportunities for businesses or individuals to sponsor any of the eighteen holes at $100 per hole. If you are interested in playing or sponsoring a hole, please contact Mike Handy (414.6455).
