Senior Highs – Tomorrow, February 6th The Senior Highs will meet for our “Gospel Grill” tomorrow from 5:30 – 6:30 PM at El Maguey Restaurant in Pfafftown. Plan to bring a friend! Middle Highs – Tomorrow, February 6th The Middle Highs will meet for our “Gospel Grill” tomorrow, from 6:45 – 7:30 PM at Starbucks, 3327 Robinhood Road. Bring a friend! Prayer Time – Every Sunday Morning Everyone is invited to join in a time of prayer every Sunday morning in the parlor beginning at 9:30 AM. We pray for Pastor Matthew, the worship service, our church, the sick, our country, the world, etc. Senior Friends – Wednesday, February 15th The Senior Friends will play Bingo and enjoy pizza on Wednesday, February 15th, beginning at 10:30 AM. Please sign up on the Senior Friends Bulletin Board outside of the Library. Financial Reporting Sunday – Sunday, February 19th Our congregation will have its annual Financial Reporting Sunday immediately following our worship service on Sunday, February 19th. An Elders Report will be available, and we will have our annual Financial Report (our Trustees Report). All members of our church are asked to attend this meeting.


Chili Cook-Off – Sunday, February 26th, 5:30 PM Do you make a delicious chili? Do your family and friends think your chili is really good? Is your recipe mild, sweet, a little spicy or “burns all the way down”? Let your church family taste and judge your chili! On Sunday, February 26th at 5:30 PM, we will have a Chili Cook-Off and the Olivet-Bethania Mission Team that went to Lumberton will give a presentation. There is no fee to enter and we need several crock pots of chili. Please sign up by Sunday, February 19th, sign-up sheets are located in the Narthex and at the Fellowship Hall entrance. All entries need to be brought to the Fellowship Hall in a crock pot by 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 26th. We ask that you include a title/name and any special ingredients (jalapenos, deer meat, vegetarian, etc.) so that people know what they are eating. Upcoming Local Dinners -- You Don’t Have to Cook: Dinner of Love – Saturday, February 18, 5-7:00 PM New Hope U.M. Church, 5125 Shattalon Drive On Saturday, February 18th, 5:00-7:00 PM, the Youth at New Hope United Methodist Church and Kandis Fox are preparing a fundraiser, 4-course dinner. The monies raised from this dinner will be used to send the youth on their week-long mission trip in the mountains of NC this summer; where they make repairs to the homes of handicapped, disabled, impoverished and elderly residents. The youth will serve your meal that begins with homemade, creamy tomato basil soup; garden salad; your choice of a grilled 8 oz. steak (either new york strip or ribeye) or grilled marinated chicken breast; baked potato; roll; and dessert. The tickets are $15 each or two for $28, which is inexpensive for a 4-course meal! Please contact Kandis (336.414.8007) for your tickets by February 12th. Vienna Civic Club Steak Dinner -- Saturday, February 25, @ 6:30pm Olivet Moravian Church Fellowship Hall Throughout the years the Vienna Civic Club has provided financial support to local churches, Vienna Elementary School, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Scholarships for local college students. Come enjoy a fabulous steak dinner with baked potatoes, monster salad bar, roll and dessert. Relax, socialize with your neighbors and enjoy the entertainment provided. There will also be door prizes. Proceeds will go towards their Scholarship Fund to help support our local students. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from Gail at 336.945.5909. Tickets also available at the door.
