Souper Bowl Of Caring – Today Today after our worship service, our Senior Highs and Middle Highs will be taking part in what is called the Souper Bowl of Caring. Some of our youth will be at the church exits with cooking pots labeled with the teams for this year’s Super Bowl. People are encouraged to give $1 to the team of their choice, either the Carolina Panthers or the Denver Broncos. All the money collected will go to the Sunnyside Ministries in Winston-Salem. We hope you will join our Senior Highs and Middle Highs in taking part in this year’s Souper Bowl of Caring. Luncheon by Senior Highs & Middle Highs – Today You are invited to stay for a variety of homemade soups and salad luncheon today provided by our Senior Highs and Middle Highs. The luncheon is free, but donations are welcome to help support youth activities. Reporting Sunday – Next Sunday Our congregation will have its annual Reporting Sunday immediately following our worship service on Sunday, February 14th. An Elders Report will be available, and we will have our annual Financial Report (our Trustees Report). All members of our church are asked to attend this meeting. Day of Prayer – This Wednesday The Day of Prayer Service is this Wednesday, February 10th, at Home Moravian Church. There will be a Coffee Hour beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by music and The Rev. Dr. Dianne Lipsett will be the speaker. Meet at church at 9:30 AM if you want to carpool.
Ash Wednesday Service – This Wednesday We will begin our Lenten journey by gathering in the Sanctuary for a service of Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes this Wednesday, February 10th, 7:30 PM.
