Celebrating the Legacy of John Hus -- 3:00 PM Today Today at Home Moravian at 3:00 PM: there will be Communion and a Worship Service with Joint Choirs, Bands, Special Music; at 4:30 PM: Following in the Footsteps of Hus (Reception and Trip Retrospectives). 2016 Moravian Daily Texts – Orders Due This Wednesday The Daily Texts is a devotional book the Moravian Church has published since 1731. If you would like to order one or more 2016 Daily Texts, please fill out an order form (located in the Narthex and at the Fellowship Hall entrance) then turn in with the offering or bring to the church office. You will pay for your Daily Texts when they arrive in the fall of this year. Orders are due this Wednesday, July 22nd. Men’s Breakfast — Next Sunday, July 26th The Men’s Breakfast will be next Sunday, July 26th at 8:30 AM. All men of the church and guests invited. Please sign up if you plan to come. July Mission Project – Monday, July 27th Our July Mission Project will be to help at The Diaper Bank, 5723-R Country Club Rd. (part of the Country Club Business Center, corner of Country Club & Styers Ferry Rds. It’s on the Back Row). We will sort and package diapers. The event will take place on Monday, July 27th from 9:30 – 11:30 AM. Please contact John and Angela Golden at 336-924-1460 if you are able to assist with this project or use the signup sheet at the Fellowship Hall entrance. July Item Of the Month – Monday, July 27th Our July Item of the Month will be diapers for The Diaper Bank of NC. The Diaper Bank of NC supplies diapers to local health agencies and food pantries so they can distribute them to local families. All sizes of diapers are accepted, but they are in most need of newborns, size 1, and pull-ups. We will collect diapers until Monday, July 27th.

Ice Cream Social and Missions Night Sunday, August 9th, 5:00 PM

Come and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship with your church family as we share homemade ice cream and a light supper. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 5:00 PM and after eating together, we will hear from some of our church members who have gone on various mission and other trips this year, including Brooklyn, NY, Greece, Dominican Republic, Germany, and Czech Republic. Sandwiches, chips, and drinks will be provided, but we need freezers of homemade ice cream. Please sign up.
