Each year around our denomination’s anniversary date we receive a special Unity Offering for a cause in the Moravian Church. This year’s offering is designated for support of the 2017 Unity Mission Conference, November 15-20, 2017, in Cape Town, South Africa. Special offering envelopes are in your bulletins for this offering. We hope you will prayerfully consider what you can give to this worthy cause. Today

Senior Highs – Tomorrow The Senior Highs will meet for our “Gospel Grill” tomorrow from 5:30 – 6:30 PM at El Maguey Restaurant in Pfafftown. Plan to bring a friend! Middle Highs – Tomorrow The Middle Highs will meet for our “Gospel Grill” tomorrow from 6:45 – 7:30 PM at Starbucks, 3327 Robinhood Road. Bring a friend! Evangelism Committee – Tomorrow The Evangelism Committee will meet tomorrow at 4:30 PM in the Parlor. Senior Friends – This Wednesday The Senior Friends will go as a group to the Day of Prayer service this Wednesday, at Ardmore Moravian Church. Dr. Robert Shackleford will be speaking. We’ll meet at the church at 9:00 AM to carpool. All Youth – Dinner & Movie Night – This Friday All Youth are meeting at the church at 6:00 PM this Friday to enjoy dinner and a movie.


Men’s Fellowship – Petty Museum – This Saturday The Men’s Fellowship will meet at 8:30 AM this Saturday to carpool to the Petty Museum. The admission is $10/person or $8/Military with ID & Seniors (60 +). They will stop in Greensboro on the way home for lunch. Men’s Breakfast – Next Sunday The Men’s Breakfast will be next Sunday, March 19th, at 8:30 AM. All men of the church and any guests are welcome to attend. Missions Committee News Our March “Mission of the Month” will be providing a meal on Tuesday, March 21st for “Chat and Snack”, a program that provides an opportunity for families of children at Brenner Children’s Hospital (WFBMC) or Forsyth Medical Center, particularly those in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), to visit, eat, and connect with other families. We need your help with food items. Sign-up sheets are posted at the entrances. The “Item of the Month” will be single serve juice boxes to take on the 21st for the Chat and Snack program. They keep these on hand for children who visit and to offer during the events. The juice boxes can be placed at the table by the exit doors close to the Fellowship Hall. Flower Calendar Openings Our church’s Flower Calendar is open on the following Sundays: March 26th, April 2nd and April 23rd. If you would like the opportunity to remember or honor a special person(s), please sign up on the Flower Calendar, located across from the Church Office. Wrapped Candy/Treats Needed for Easter Egg Hunt Olivet Youth will be sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt for the community on Saturday, April 8th. We need donations of small, wrapped candy or treats to fill the Easter eggs. Please pick up a bag as you are shopping and drop it off in the box outside the Fellowship Hall by Sunday, April 2nd. Spring Golf Tournament – Saturday, May 13 The Arlen Lewis Memorial Spring Golf Tournament will be on Saturday, May 13th, at the Pilot Knob Park Golf Course in Pilot Mountain. The tournament is a fourperson team captain’s choice event. The cost is $180 per team ($45 per person) and there are also opportunities for businesses or individuals to sponsor any of the eighteen holes at $100 per hole.
