Ahuas Hospital in Honduras Needs Donations Today we are collecting a special offering to help the Moravian Hospital in Ahuas, Honduras. Our Board of Trustees has approved giving $10,000 and encourages the congregation to give as well. If you would like to make a donation, write your check to Olivet Moravian Church and write “Ahuas Hospital Fund” on the memo line. Please place your donation in the envelope provided in the bulletin. Day of Prayer – This Wednesday The Day of Prayer Service is this Wednesday, March 9th, at Fairview Moravian Church, The Rev. John D. Rights will be the speaker and Communion will be served. Meet at church at 9:45 AM if you want to carpool. New Sewing Group is Starting — This Friday, March 11th, 9:30 AM A new Sewing Group is forming to make quilts for the sick, shut-ins and others in need. Our first meeting is this Friday, March 11th, at 9:30 AM and we plan to meet twice a month. We need help cutting fabric, sewing, and tacking (tying knots). If you are interested, please contact Marilyn Mankins (945-5450). Road Clean Up – This Saturday, 8:00 AM Our Men’s Fellowship and anyone else who would like to help will be cleaning Olivet Church Road this Saturday, March 12th beginning at 8:00 AM. Special Unity Prayer and Offering – Next Sunday On March 1, 1457, the Moravian Church began (anniversary of the founding of the Unitas Fratrum). Each year around our denomination’s anniversary date we receive a special Unity Offering for a cause in the Moravian Church. This year’s offering is designated for various projects in South Africa. We will collect Unity Offering next Sunday, March 13th. Easter Egg Hunt Candy Needed Bags of individually wrapped candy are needed for our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 19th. When you’re out shopping, pick up a bag and place it in the plastic bin beside the “Item of the Month” table at the Fellowship Hall entrance.
