All who profess Christ as Lord and Saviour are invited to partake. The pastor and acolytes will distribute the wafer and juice to you in the pew and after all have been served, we will partake together. Newsletter Deadline – This Wednesday, May 18th If you have information that needs to be included in the June issue of The Olivet Reporter please have it in the church office no later than Wednesday, May 18th. Please type your information in Arial, 10 font. If your information is not on time, it will be added to the next month’s newsletter. Senior Friends – This Wednesday, May 18th The Senior Friends will gather this Wednesday, May 18th, beginning at 10:30 AM to watch some old TV shows. We will share some laughter, fellowship, popcorn and a light lunch that will be provided. Please sign up today on the Senior Friends Bulletin Board outside of the Library, so we will know how many to prepare lunch for. Second Harvest Food Bank Collections – This Wednesday, May 18th This Wednesday, May 18th you can drop off your Second Harvest Food Bank donations at Vienna Fire Department, from 5:00 AM – 6:30 PM. Vienna and WXII 12 are teaming up to restock their pantry. No glass containers please. Graduation Information – Due Next Sunday, May 22nd We need the names of those graduating from high school and college. Please send the following information to the church office: high school graduates – (1) high school that they are graduating from; (2) will they be attending college, if so the college name and their major or what their plans for the future are. For college graduates – (1) College that they are graduating from, (2) list their full degree name and (3) their future plans. For all graduates, we need their full name along with both of their parents’ names or spouse’s names. We need this information no later than next Sunday, May 22nd. Olivet Moravian’s Graduation Sunday is scheduled for June 5th.

Friends’ Circle – Thursday, May 26th Friends’ Circle will meet Thursday, May 26th, at 6:00 PM at Cities Restaurant, 2438 S. Stratford Rd. Please let Kathy Rights (336-922-5602) know if you can attend so she can make reservations.

Missions Item of the Month – Collections Through Sunday, May 29th We are collecting small bottles of water and small bottles of Gatorade for Seeds of Hope Summer Camp. We will collect these through Sunday, May 29th. Moravian Mission Awareness Celebration – Sunday, June 5th Everyone is invited to attend the Mission Society Celebration on Sunday June 5th, at Bethania Moravian Church. The Chicken Pie Dinner begins at 6:00 PM, followed by music from the Regional Youth Council, a presentation about the Moravian Ahuas Clinic, Honduras, and commissioning of mission teams for 2016. The cost is $10 and reservations are due by Monday, May 16th. Please contact Sheila Beaman in the Mission Office (sbeaman@mcsp.org or 336-773-1732). Moravian Night – W-S Dash Baseball Friday, June 17th We are reserving a block of tickets so Olivet members and friends can sit together. The tickets are $11 and include a W-S Dash Hat and Fireworks after the game. The Moravian Lower Brass will be playing the National Anthem. There is a sign-up sheet on Evie’s door (next to the church office). Make sure to include the number of tickets you will need. Cash or check MUST accompany your sign-up. Checks should be made payable to Olivet Moravian Church, write ‘Dash tickets’ on the memo line. Place your cash/check in Stephanie Stevens’ staff mailbox at the end of the hallway by the stairs. There are blank envelopes in Stephanie’s mailbox for you to insert your payment. The deadline for ordering tickets is next Sunday, May 22nd.
