Graduation Information – Due Today We need the names of those graduating from high school and college. Please send the following information to the church office: high school graduates – (1) high school that they are graduating from; (2) will they be attending college, if so the college name and their major or what their plans for the future are. For college graduates – (1) College that they are graduating from, (2) list their full degree name and (3) their future plans. For all graduates, we need their full name along with both of their parents’ names or spouse’s names. We need this information no later than today. Olivet Moravian’s Graduation Sunday is scheduled for June 5th. Ticket Orders – Due Today Moravian Night – W-S Dash Baseball Friday, June 17th We are reserving a block of tickets so Olivet members and friends can sit together. The tickets are $11 and include a W-S Dash Hat and Fireworks after the game. The Moravian Lower Brass will be playing the National Anthem. There is a sign-up sheet on Evie’s door (next to the church office). Make sure to include the number of tickets you will need. Cash or check MUST accompany your sign-up. Checks should be made payable to Olivet Moravian Church, write ‘Dash tickets’ on the memo line. Place your cash/check in Stephanie Stevens’ staff mailbox at the end of the hallway by the stairs. There are blank envelopes in Stephanie’s mailbox for you to insert your payment. Friends’ Circle – This Thursday, May 26th Friends’ Circle will meet this Thursday, May 26th, at 6:00 PM at Cities Restaurant, 2438 S. Stratford Rd. Please let Kathy Rights (336-922-5602) know by Wednesday if you can attend so she can make reservations. Sewing Group – This Friday, May 27th The Sewing Group will meet this Friday, May 27th at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall (note the time change). We are making lap quilts for the shutins. On Saturday, June 4th at 4:00 PM the Men’s Fellowship will sponsor a walk to raise money to provide meals for needy children this summer in Forsyth County. In our county, 60% of children are on free or reduced lunch at school, so many of them are at risk for being hungry while school is out. For every $1 raised, the Second Harvest Food Bank can provide 7 meals! We need walkers and sponsors! If you want to walk, please take a form located at any of the church entrances. If you want to sponsor a walker or just make a donation, make checks to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. At 6:00 PM, after the walk there will be a hotdog cookout followed by music provided by Chuck Harmon for walkers, sponsors, and donors. Flower Calendar Openings Our church’s Flower Calendar is open on the following Sundays: May 29th, August 28th, September 4th and 18th. If you would like the opportunity to remember or honor a special person(s), please sign up on the Flower Calendar, located across from the church office.
