Go the Extra Mile to End Summer Hunger! We need walkers and sponsors! – This Saturday This Saturday, June 4th at 4:00 PM the Men’s Fellowship will sponsor a walk to raise money to provide meals for needy children this summer in Forsyth County. In our county, 60% of children are on free or reduced lunch at school, so many of them are at risk for being hungry while school is out. For every $1 raised, the Second Harvest Food Bank can provide 14 meals! We need walkers and sponsors! If you want to walk, please take a form located at any of the church entrances. If you want to sponsor a walker or just make a donation, make checks to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. At 6:00 PM, after the walk there will be a hotdog cookout followed by music provided by Chuck Harmon for walkers, sponsors, and donors.

A Cordial Welcome is extended to all who worship today at Olivet Moravian Church. If you are looking for a church home, we hope you will consider becoming a part of our church. If you would like to join our church, please call the church office at 336-924-8063. Before the service speak to the Lord; during the service let the Lord speak to you; and after the service speak to one another. The children being baptized this morning are Chase Willard Beroth and Landon Winfield Beroth, sons of Vic and Jennifer Beroth and grandsons of Winfield and Judy Beroth. Their sponsors are Calvin and Lily Tsai. We hope you experience God’s blessing in your time with us today and throughout this week. We also hope you will return and worship with us again.

Luncheon by the Morning Star Ringers Next Sunday Our Morning Star Ringers will provide a spaghetti luncheon following our worship service next Sunday, June 5th. The meal will include spaghetti, salad, desserts and drinks. The luncheon is free, and if you would like to make a donation for the meal the proceeds from this luncheon will go to the Morning Star Ringers’ upcoming Handbell Trip where they will play at our Moravian churches in California.
