Time to Tag Up! – Name Tags / Badges In an attempt to get to know people in the church other than those that always sit next to you in your "(un)official assigned seats" we have made name badges for everyone! The Elders have done this in an attempt to make us a friendlier church to visitors and assist Pastor Matthew as he continues to learn everyone's name. They will originally be placed in your mailboxes. If you enter and exit the church through the Sanctuary, upon leaving you can place your name badge in the designated box in the Narthex. When you return the following Sunday your name badge will be placed on a board in the Sanctuary Narthex. There will be name badge boxes at all of the entrances to put your badge in on your way out in case you forgot to place it back in your box. We hope you will use your name badges not just on Sundays but at other church functions. We do realize that not everyone wants to wear a name tag but we hope that it will be a good tool for some who want to participate. If you see that you haven't had a name badge printed, your child would like one or you are a regular visitor please sign the clipboard next to the Badge Return Box in the Narthex or one on the bench at the mailboxes. We will have one printed for you. Coordinator Needed – Christmas Decorations We are in need of someone to oversee the decorating of the church for this Christmas season. Due to family obligations and health problems Shirley Harper and Gina Handy will be unable to be in charge of it this year. Shirley and Gina will be available to help and advise the new Coordinator for the transition. If you are interested in this position please contact Pastor Matthew. Give-A-Kid-A-Coat We are collecting gently used coats again this year for the Salvation Army’s Give-A-Kid-A-Coat Campaign. The coats we collect will be dropped off at A Cleaner World where they will be cleaned and mended. Please hang your donated coats on the coat rack outside the fellowship hall. All coats need to be turned in by Sunday, November 8th. Samaritan Ministries Penny Campaign We are participating in the Samaritan Ministries Annual Penny Campaign. The money collected is used to house and feed needy families and individuals. We will collect coins and cash through November 29th. Collection cans are located at the Fellowship Hall Entrance, the Narthex, and the rear Sunday School Entrance. Please contribute!
