Donations – Hurricane Victims – Through Next Sunday, October 8th We are collecting monetary donations for victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma through next Sunday, October 8th. Donations will be given to the Moravian Disaster Response of the Board of World Mission. Write checks to Olivet Moravian and write “Hurricane Relief” on the memo line. We hope to see many of you on October 10th. Men’s Breakfast – Sunday, October 15th The Men’s Breakfast will be Sunday, October 15th at 8:30 AM. All men of the church and guests invited.


Mission Project – CROP Walk, Sunday, October 15th Our Mission Project for the month is CROP Walk. This event takes place on Sunday, October 15th. Registration starts at 1:30 PM and the walk begins at 2:30 PM. CROP Walk begins at Corpening Plaza, 231 1st Street W, Winston Salem. All of the money raised from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk is used to support hunger alleviation programs. The walk is about 2 miles long. We will collect money for CROP Walk today and the next two Sundays. Our goal is to raise $3,000 so please plan to participate and/or please give generously. Blood Drive – Saturday, October 21st Olivet will be having a Blood Drive on Saturday, October 21st. If you give blood regularly, August 25th was the donation cutoff date if you wish to participate in our blood drive. Contact Angela Golden at 336.924.1460 if you would like to donate blood or volunteer to help with the drive. Thanks! It’s Time to Make Some Chicken Pies! – Wednesday, October 25th Come join us to make some Moravian Chicken Pies and fellowship with us at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, October 25th. Trunk or Treat Carnival and Free Chicken Stew and Hot Dog Supper Sunday October 29th, 5:00-7:00 PM Our Senior Highs and Middle Highs invite all the children of the church and friends to come on Sunday, October 29th, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Enjoy the Trunk or Treat, where many of our members will decorate their vehicle trunks and offer a treat to all that stop by. We will have fun games and activities for all ages! Please come out for a fun evening of Trunk or Treat and Free Chicken Stew and Hot Dog Supper! If you are interested in participating in our Trunk or Treat contact Andrea Bohn (bohnaw@wfu.com) or the church office. You don’t have to make your vehicle trunk an elaborate display, just make sure it’s kidfriendly and non-scary. Make sure you have plenty of candy available for the trickor-treaters that walk by.
