Mission Project – CROP Walk, Sunday, October 15th Our Mission Project for the month is CROP Walk. This event takes place on Sunday, October 15th. Registration starts at 1:30 PM and the walk begins at 2:30 PM. CROP Walk begins at Corpening Plaza, 231 1st Street W, Winston Salem. All of the money raised from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk is used to support hunger alleviation programs. The walk is about 2 miles long. We will collect money for CROP Walk today and the next two Sundays. Our goal is to raise $3,000 so please plan to participate and/or please give generously. Blood Drive – Saturday, October 21st Olivet will be having a Blood Drive on Saturday, October 21st. If you give blood regularly, August 25th was the donation cutoff date if you wish to participate in our blood drive. Enjoy the Trunk or Treat, where many of our members will decorate their vehicle trunks and offer a treat to all that stop by. We will have fun games and activities for all ages! Please come out for a fun evening of Trunk or Treat and Free Chicken Stew and Hot Dog Supper!
