Workshop – Make Bazaar Crafts – This Tuesday, September 13 This Tuesday at 10:00 AM we’re having workshop in the Fellowship Hall to make crafts for our Bazaar. Please come help make Moravian Christmas trees and Moravian felt candle Christmas ornaments. Come join the fellowship!! Women’s Bible Study – This Tuesday, September 13 The Women’s Bible Study will be at 7:00 PM this Tuesday, September 13 in the Church Parlor. We will be discussing Chapter 24 on “Phoebe and Priscilla", beginning on page 279. It is hard to believe this is the final chapter of our two-year study of Dynamic Women of the Bible. We hope to see many of you! It’s Time to Make Some Chicken Pies! – This Wednesday, September 14 Come join us to make some Moravian Chicken Pies and fellowship with us at 8:30 AM this Wednesday, September 14. Adult Bible Study – This Wednesday, September 14 Adult Bible Study will resume this Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30 PM in the Parlor. The study will be on the 12 disciples. Come join us! Fall Golf Tournament – This Saturday, September 17 Our Men’s Fellowship will have its Fall Golf Tournament this Saturday, September 17, at 2:00 PM at the Pilot Knob Park Golf Course in Pilot Mountain. The tournament is a four-person team captain’s choice event and the cost is $180 per team ($45 per person). There are also opportunities for businesses or individuals to sponsor any of the eighteen holes at $100 per hole. Proceeds from this event will go to help with church projects. If you are interested in playing, sponsoring a hole or donating drinks, nabs, or chips, please contact Mike Handy on his new mobile number (336.688.8903).
Men’s Breakfast – Next Sunday, September 18 The Men’s Breakfast will be next Sunday, September 18 at 8:30 AM. All men of the church and guests invited. Music and Memories Dinner – Next Sunday, September 18 Our RCC Churches (Bethania, King, Mizpah, Olivet, and Rural Hall) will be gathering for a night of fellowship, food and beautiful music next Sunday, September 18. It will begin at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Bethania Moravian Church, then around 7:15 or so, we’ll move into the Sanctuary and have our musical song service. An offering will be taken for an RCC charity. Senior Friends – Wednesday, September 21 The Senior Friends will fellowship together and share some of their summer memories at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 21. A light lunch will be served. Please sign up on the Senior Friends’ Bulletin Board outside of the Library, so we will know how many to prepare lunch for. September Item of the Month – Friday, September 23 Our September Item of the Month will be collected for the Samaritan Inn through Friday, September 23. The items needed include canned vegetables and meats and men’s toiletries especially deodorant (any size). September Missions – Saturday, September 24 The September Mission Project will be at Samaritan Ministries on Saturday, September 24, 9 AM until approximately 1:30 PM, to set tables, serve a meal, wash dishes and cleanup. We will meet at the church at 8:30 AM to carpool. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. If you are interested in helping us serve this meal, please call Alina Cukiernik at 336.414-1659.
