Homecoming & National “Back to Church” Sunday – Next Sunday Next Sunday, September 20th we will celebrate Homecoming and National “Back to Church” Sunday. Be sure to invite new folks as well as members who haven’t been in a while. Hopefully our church will be full that day! We will have a catered luncheon after worship.

Friends’ Circle Dinner – Thursday, September 24th The Friends’ Circle will meet for dinner on Thursday, September 24th, at 6:00 PM at the Village Tavern, Hanes Mall Blvd. Please let Kathy Rights know if you can attend so she can make reservations.

Missions News

September Missions – Saturday, September 26th The September Mission Project will be at Samaritan Ministries on Saturday, September 26th, 9 AM until approximately 1:30 PM, to set tables, serve a meal, wash dishes and cleanup. We will meet at the church at 8:30 AM to carpool. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. If you are interested in helping us serve this meal please call or text Art Beroth at 336.970.7653.

September Item of the Month Our September Item of the Month will be collected for the Samaritan Inn. The items needed include men's travel-size toiletries (deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are especially needed).

Piano and Organ Recital -- Sunday, September 27th, 2:00 PM Everyone is invited to attend a piano and organ recital by Mrs. Katrina Oakley and Mr. Fred Wood, on Sunday, September 27th at 2:00 PM in the Olivet Moravian Sanctuary. Donations will be accepted and donated to the NC Eastern Star Grand Chapter Scholarship Fund. There will be a small reception with snacks afterward in the Fellowship Hall.

Youth and Parent Night -- Sunday, September 27th, 6:30 PM Our Youth Fellowship will have a special Youth and Parent Night on Sunday, September 27th, at our Pavilion beginning at 6:30 PM. All parents and youth in our Youth Fellowship program are invited to attend. Desserts will be served followed by a time when our parents will be able to see the events and activities their youth will be doing in Youth Fellowship.

It’s Time to Make Some Chicken Pies! – Wednesday, September 30th Come join us to make some Moravian Chicken Pies and fellowship with us at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, September 30th. Contact Lisa Culpepper at lbculpepper@triad.rr.com or 306-0297 if you can help.
