Amidst the scenic backdrop that makes Jackson Hole, Wyoming such a special place, a community of workers is severely impacted by the rising cost of living. Home to a pristine mountain landscape and appealing lifestyle, our region also hosts the nation’s fastest widening wealth gap, surpassing even New York City. This means that teachers, hospitality workers, household laborers, health workers, small business owners and others actively contributing to our community’s quality of life find themselves one crisis away from disaster.
THAT’S WHAT WE’RE HERE FOR.
Knowing that a family of four faces average monthly expenses of $3,300 for a two-bedroom apartment, $2,300 for childcare and $1,400 for food, One22 Resource Center’s programs are focused on low- to moderate-income households who struggle to make ends meet in this environment. The backbone of our workforce is at risk when they have to choose between paying for rent or food. We mobilize resources to address everyday hardships and full-blown crises, as well as provide opportunities to thrive.
