Dushanbe Grand Mosque, Dushanbe is a prestigious upcoming project in Tajikistan. It will be the biggest mosque in its surrounding region with the huge capacity of 113,000 prayers. It will accommodate a sixth of the city’s population at a time. Timur was the most admirable king of the region under whose reign the area flourished and achieved its own identity in field of art and Architecture. Timur's love and dedication for art and architecture sets a unique example in the Region. World renowned iconic monumental structures of Islamic ArAr chitecture Like Shakh-e-Zindeh, Registan complexes, Bibi-Khanum mosque, Gur-E-Amir Mausoleum were built under his supremacy. Samarkand culture was mainly influenced with its ancestral Turkicized Mongol origin and blend with Persian Culture; thus Timurid era had a dual character, which reflected both the Turco-Mongol origins and the Persian literary, artistic, and courtly high culture of the dynasty. The Exterior elements were studied/fixed since the beginning of the project. The patterns were chosen of geometrical type with limited use of vegetated/floral types to ease the construction.Calligraphy will be limited to main gates and Mehrab area. The Mosque is the house of Allah. It is a place of worship, a spiritual center for the Muslim Community, and a focal point for Islamic activities. As such, the Mosquedeserves to be shown due respect and reverence, and be used strictly in accordance withthe Qur’an. An ablution fountain is typically located in the center of a mosque's courtyard. It is where Muslims perform a ritual washing before entering the mosque for prayer.

the design is consistent with an interpretation of traditional qatari notably the flat black roof profile, the undulating black and white wall patterns, the external cable supports and the full height openings.
The New Doha International Stadium will be a facility with a capacity of 50-60,000 spectators constructed at the highest international standards, with a uniquely distinctive design rich in resonance to Qatari culture. It’s incorporation of Qatari cultural aspects and other unique features will distinguish it from any other existing stadium elsewhere in the world. The stadium design is based on a direct interpretation of a traditional Qatari Tent both in proportion and decoration, erected near an oasis from which wadis emanate. The journey into the stadium is one of transition from harsh desert landscape into oasis and tent, albeit moderated by the introduction of shade structures for pedestrian comfort. Unique to the stadium are the:

_tent form in this direct interpretation and at this truly impressive scale _separation of roof and internal linings, allowing dramatic traditional decorative treatments to the both internal and exter nal linings. _undulating nature of the upper tier, referential to the dunes of the desert, which also provides form to the internal linings. _extent of open roof. The stadium is conceived as one open to the sky that can be covered, rather than one that is open only as much as it has to be for grass to survive. _extent and functionality of the deployable roof which has been designed to accommodate both wind and rain and to allow partial deployment to maximise television broadcast quality for 3pm games. _incorporation of an integrated ‘souk’ mode to the commercial op erational modes allowing much greater use throughout the year.
the internal spaces are notable for the use of a richly patterned lining in traditional colors, textures and linear patterns. this is with a symbolic reference to the traditional earliest tents where decorative fabric was draped the roof spars to provide a morecolorful and pleasant environment.

The development aims to build a large and exclusive Residential, Commercial Complex, including a 4-5 stars Towers with all related services for the visitors of the Holy Haram. Dedicating the lower levels that are close to the Holy Haram area for Commercial activities thus ensuring immediate and easy access to the project for the Haram visitors.Adequate car parks are also planned to be within the development Showing the Aesthetic values of the project as well as conserving the environment and the Architectural Context of the Area through the Architecture style while usingthe most luxurious finishing and durable materials. The concept of the project is developed upon the hierarchy of the modules of classical architectural order. Each module is distinguished by its proportions and characteristic profiles and details. The project represents several iconic features crowned by the central dome. The main approach in designing the towers is to transform the ordinary flutes of classical columns into vertical openings, the horizontal modular balance is achieved by introducing darker strips in the podium and towers. The central dome represents an iconic crown, where the crown is composed of seven intersecting crescents, the crescents’ intersection also symbolize the union of Saudi swords. The color scheme is composed of beige and brown colors that are derived from the climate and setting of mecca. The endings of the towers where decorated with green color where it has a special place in Islam, and is the main color in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s flag , green symbolizes nature and life.
Being located in such a prestigious site in the vicinity of the Holy Haram, imposed certain character and determinants due to its huge unparalleled size, height, distinguished location and exposure. The building forces itself as a landmark that should relate to both the Saudi Locality as well as the Islamic Universality of its expected users, over and above to illustrate its modern multi-functional identity.

The proposed location of the New Airport of M’banza Congo is situated on a plateau about 30 km southwest of M’banza Congo City. The project area generally has a flat to slightly undulating topography with elevations reaching up to 350 to 400 m above sea level.A well-developed topographic feature of the area is that isolated creeks of meter scale in diameters are sporadically distributed throughout the project area.
The Scope of design involves the development of the Master Plan concept, the Passenger Terminal & Ancillary buildings. The Airport shall operate primarily as a Passenger airport with all technical support facilities. Sustainable Design Considerations The design solutions, detailing & material selections proposed for the M’Banza Congo airport are intended to be sustainable , for both execution & operational phases. The terminal building complex is strategically located in the center of the development zone. This optimizes the trips of the personnel and also the aircraft movements from either ends of the runway. The Infrastructure utilities supply & processing buildings are located close to the respective load centers. This optimizes the distribution & collection network lengths. The Passenger terminal building design aims to provide a safe, efficient, comfortable and familiar transfer of passengers and their baggage to and from aircrafts and various modes of ground transportation. This building forms a welcoming gate to the whole region & shall also be the first impression of M’Banza Congo for the arriving passengers. The three primary functions are directly translated to the building form – where the Protocol function is located on the prime central axis with Arrivals & Departures on either side. The Protocol block is recessed to have a secure entry away from the main curbside. This provides an added measure of security & exclusive parking spaces away from the general public. 15

access is also a critical component of the site design concept. each college will have a main entrance off the university core, establishing a ceremonial ‘front door’ that greets students, faculty and visitors.

the new salahaddin university in erbil unites a collection of disparate campuses into a cohesive state-of-the-art university with a strong identity.the master plan and architectural language connects different colleges of study into one system of schools, housing, open spaces, and linkages. the salahaddin university campus is designed around the university core, much like erbil is built around the citadel. colleges flank the north and south sides of the core with each having access to the central gatherin space. housing and campus utility infrastructure components are located outside to the campus loop as a clear organisational strategy. the campus is designed to be pedestrian friendly. the open space framework is a key organization strategy for the success of the campus and is broken into four components: the university core, the green ring, the spines, and lastly the college quads and courts.the core will be the major central gathering space as well as a collection zone for storm water. its acts a place of arrival, an opportunity for large events and a series of spaces for daily gatherings. the green ring is a shaded park filled with ctivities including, but not limited to, running trails, walking paths, playgrounds and gardens. campus has a strong loop of a large green ring which celebrated the reforestation of erbil. spines will connect the university core to the green ring. although, these pedstrian boulevards physically separate colleges from one another, they act as spaces for collaboration. lastly, the college quads and couts provide major threshold opportunities to each college as well as numerous outdoor gathering and studying spaces depending on the specific college program.

The Vatika One on One commercial development is situated at one of the most distinct locations for high quality offices set around a new public square. The site of approximately 13.09 acres is adjacent to a natural preserve that would contribute to creation of a pleasant working environment. The site is in close proximity to 32nd Milestone, a hospitality and entertainment destination in Gurgaon with direct and convenient access to the National Highway 8 Expressway. The occupants of the development will enjoy a large and vibrant urban space surrounded by ground level retail shops, restaurants and cafes that complement the distinctiveness of the development and individual buildings. It is envisaged that these retail uses will be highly active both during office working hours and extended into the evenings as a recognised local food and beverage destination.
As the site is adjacent to a natural preserve to its west and northern boundaries and with more commercial / industrial uses to the east, - the buildings want to open up toward western views.
Major access to the development will be from the expressway to the east with a direct primary road to the development’s ‘gateway.’ A second access point will be provided from the western part of the site. Underground parking for approximately 2,000 cars is planned in three basement levels.
The Tower The landmark tower being situated at the northernmost end of the site and adjoining the existing natural preserve is sited virtually within a park-like setting. Since no other tall structure would be in close vicinity to the preserved area, the tower will be visible from afar and be the primary marker to the Vatika One on One Development.
The Masterplan The commercial development consists of a landmark tower of approximately 120m tall with uninterrupted vistas to Delhi and Gurgaon. The 7-storey office buildings reinforcing the public space with approximately 120,000 sqft each that would not only be attractive to individual companies but to multi-tenanted occupants; and a mid-rise office tower of ten storeys defining the gateway to the development. The six buildings are positioned to create a grand public space and individual building identities with key positions for lobbies, building set-down areas and prime retail spaces.
