DOUBLE YOUR INVESTMENT INCOME Written by Erin Rogers | Property Manager Who doesn’t love some extra cash? I know I don’t! As an investor I’m sure you’d jump at a chance to double/increase your passive income, I mean, you’d be crazy not to! Obviously one of the easiest ways to boost ya bucks is to hike-up the rent. Yes, this can be a good way to do it, but it can sometimes (depending on the market circumstances) make it difficult to re-rent down the track, in the event that your current tenant/s vacate the property. Another way to do this is, if you do have a little bit of dough in the bank, throw it at your rental. They are called investment properties after all! So why not invest a little, add a shed/ carport, some security screens, dishwasher, or touch-up the paint work. Adjustments like these go a long way in the rental market, nine times out of ten a house with a shed will rent faster than a house without any car accommodation. If you have more than a ‘little’ extra cash to flash, a sure-fire way to double your investment income is by buying another investment property. You might have seen some of these photos on our Facebook page, but we think this gorgeous little human definetly deserves a special mention in this issue of our Newsletter. Kylie is our Senior Property Manager here at One Realty, and we are all so excited as Kylie's daughter has just blessed her with her very first grandchild, Kaliah Jane. Kaliah Jane was born 6 pound 9 and is now 4.10 kilos and seven weeks old this week! Congratulations to the very lucky parents, there really is nothing more beautiful than a newborn baby!
