The film introduces the work of the restorers of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography. The film shows how they work with ancient ceramics restoring their original appearance. There is some kind of mystery and lyricism in their work. Restorers, like archeologists, go through time and bring it to us, giving the past to our days.

The mother is feeding great tits from the window of the high-rise building in Mariupol and grows queen apples in her summerhouse near the battle line. To tell about her unsophisticated life, the woman shoots videos on a small camera for her busy daughter in Kyiv who is often hard to reach on the phone. To make the conversation last, she feeds fairytales and morels to her grown up kid. The vernacular videos turn into the naive letters: behind the footprints of animals and a sound of explosions there is a need for love.

"The Jumping Ruler" is a sarcastic video commenting on the demagoguery in the addresses of politicians to their nations. To underline the whole absurdity and silliness of such demagoguery, the work incorporates absurd imagery, as well as surrealist and silly humor. Serving as an example of demagoguery in political address, the main text of the video is compiled of excerpts from inaugural speeches of five incumbent presidents/prime ministers: Donald Trump (USA), Vladimir Putin (Russia), Emmanuel Macron (France), Xi Jinping (China), and Justin Trudeau (Canada). So this is not a critique aimed only at the USA, China, Russia, Canada, and France, but a wider critique of empty, and at times misleading words used by people in power, regardless of the regime or a party (democratic, communist, republican, liberal, etc.)
