Contributing Pattern Designers KATE ANDERSON Horris & Deedle www.horrisanddeedle.blogspot.com.au Kate is a Stay-at-Home mum to five children and lives in Perth, Western Australia. She loves seeing her simple drawings come to life through the different colours and textures of fabric. She is addicted to putting cute appliques on cheap t-shirts and making baby quilts. She has contributed the Bear & Bunny Quilt pattern to this issue.

RENEE HALL Fat Red Bird Designs www.fatredbirddesigns.com.au Formerly dabbling in an array of marketing and graphical design work, Renee’s two kiddies came into the picture and the switch to full time mum opened the crafty flood gates. With sewing skills learned from her mum as a child, a stash of vintage dress making books, bulk amounts of butchers paper & a bit of geeky love for her computer, Renee’s passion is evident in all her patterns. She has contributed the FRB Women’s Hoodie Vest.

CASSIE MASSOLIA Lily Shine Boutique www.ilyshineboutique.com Cassie is one of the designers for Little Lizard King sewing pdf patterns. She entered the creative world as a children’s boutique sewist (Lily Shine Boutique) and transitioned to pattern design a year ago. She loves seeing customers take one of her patterns and add their own brilliant creativity and pizzazz- it truly brings the pattern to life! Cassie has contributed the Hoya Dress to this issue.

JEANINE THOMLINSON StitchART by Jeanine www.etsy.com/ca/shop/TheCraftingFiend Jeanine is a Canadian designer who loves free motion appliqué, sewing pretty things, mermaids, and dabbling in fabric design! Jeanine has contributed the Hood Creatures Free Motion Applique pattern to this issue.

ALICIA BROWN Felt with Love Designs www.feltwithlovedesigns.com Alicia created Felt With Love Designs to share the fun and creative toys and activities she designs for her daughter. Her favorite toys to design are finger puppets, quiet book pages, and softies. Her blog specialises in felt projects but also covers lots of other sewing adventures. She has contributed the Felt 3D animal puzzle pattern to this issue.

JEN KENNEDY Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns www.ainsleefox.com.au Jen Kennedy is the designer behind Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns and the editor of One Thimble. She’s passionate about inspiring self-taught sewists and helping build their confidence and skills. Sewing changed her life and now she’s on a mission to help sewing change the lives of others. Jen has contributed the Marty Hoodie to this issue.

AJAIRE PARELLO Call Ajaire www.callajaire.com Ajaire has been an avid sewist and crafter for over 25 years. When her daughter was born in 2011 she found an outlet for all her creative ideas and the focus of Call Ajaire shifted to sewing and fashion inspiration for young girls. Though most known for Call Ajaire’s Monthly MashUp series, in 2015 she finally launched her children’s clothing patterns under Designs by Call Ajaire (DbCA). Ajaire has contributed the Crossover flounce dress to this issue.

STEPHANIE WOODSON Swoodson Says www.swoodsonsays.com Stephanie Woodson is a creative blogger, sharing her recent experiments and free tutorials at Swoodsonsays.com. Swoodson Says PDF patterns are designed for busy kids, encouraging open-ended play and imagination! She has contributed the Roly Poly Critters pattern to this issue.

REBECCA GRECO Hugs are fun www.hugsarefun.com Rebecca is a creative mom with two young daughters. She began blogging to show cross stitch designs, though lately embroidery and English paper pieced quilting have been her favorites, but she loves experimenting and has an ever-growing work-inprogress pile. Rebecca has contributed the Rainbow Wild Animal Cross Stitch patterns to this issue.

AMY MACDONALD Momma Quail Patterns www.friendsstitchedtogether.com Amy is one half of Friends Stitched Together and mom to two little boys who love fabric shopping almost as much as she does. Her designs focus on patterns with interesting details that are fun for both the maker and the wearer! Amy has contributed the Upton Sweater to this issue.

LISA SPEARMAN Big Little Patterns www.etsy.com/shop/biglittle Lisa loves to create beautiful winter clothing and doll patterns in her tree-house studio hidden within the magical New Zealand rainforest. Capturing the essence of her favourite childhood storybooks, her signature style is warm, enduring and classic with a hint of woodland whimsy. Recycling old garments with delicious fabrics is a passion. Lisa has contributed the Wild THings Baby Shoes to this issue.
