She has sewn for the most part of her life and her goal is designing versatile PDF patterns you can easily use to sew cute but practical clothes that fits everyday of your life. Refashion addicted, overlocker fanatic. Irene has contributed the One Cardigan pattern to this issue.

JENNA BELL Apple + Fig www.appleandfig.weebly.com Jenna gave up her day job as a graphic designer to become a full time mum. With a passion for design, fashion, fabric and colour, Jenna began to create her own range of limited and unique pieces under the label Small White Bird. Her business grew and Jenna now sells her designs as sewing pattern PDF’s through her pattern brand Apple + Fig

ERIN ERICKSON Dog Under My Desk www.dogundermydesk.com Erin has been designing patterns since 2011 with her Yorkies, Sammy and Loki, adorably snoozing under her desk. Her days are spent developing complex zipper techniques and then breaking them down with excessive detail so that anyone can learn to sew a professional looking bag. Erin has contributed the Outta Time Tote to this issue, because she is forever running out of time.

Robyn is a wife, Mother and Grandmother & has been sewing & crafting for around 45 years. Robyn is employed as a School Business Services Manager and is making retirement plans to replace her Diploma with an embroidery machine manual. Robyn has contributed the hand appliqué Toadstool Cottage and Fairy to this issue.

MICHELLE LEECH Sew n Sow www.sewnsow.com.au Michelle has been sewing for more than 30 years and started Sew n Sow at the end of 2012. As well as making sun hats and items for enjoying the outdoors, Michelle has started to create patterns and e-courses for teaching others to sew. Michelle has contributed the Multi Apron to Issue 6.

ALICIA BROWN Felt with love Designs www.feltwithlovedesigns.com Alicia created Felt With Love Designs to share the fun and creative toys and activities she designs for her daughter. Her favorite toys to design are finger puppets, quiet book pages, and softies. Her blog specialises in felt projects but also covers lots of other sewing adventures. She has contributed the Woodland Finger Puppets to this issue.

Jen lives in tropical North Queensland. She loves making Party Dresses and sharing her love of sewing with others. Jen’s first PDF pattern was released in 2010, but she didn’t really hit her pattern making groove till 2013 with the Disco dress pattern. Jen has contributed the Bonfire Jacket & Bells Beach Dress pattern to this issue.

VICTORIA SEDDON Eliana and Thea www.facebook.com/elianaandthea Victoria’s love of sewing was reignited while making baby essentials and lots of modern cloth nappies for her daughter. This inspired her to start her business Eliana & Thea as a welcome creative outlet after years of study and work in science and engineering. Victoria’s first pattern the Blossom Skirt is featured in this issue.

NIKKI MARSH Bubby and Me www.bubbyandmecreations.blogspot.com.au Nikki has recently launched into designing PDF patterns for sale. With a strong history of sewing and creating, this is an exciting evolution of her business. Her designs are fun and practical with a modern twist. Nikki has contributed the Penny Dress to this issue.

VANESSA GOWANS Bobkin www.bobkin.bigcartel.com Vanessa makes patterns for the little ladies. She has a wealth of experience sewing commercially, which she generously shares in her patterns & she has a passion for helping the handmade industry thrive and grow. FOR ONE THIMBLE …

The e-zine and pattern lift-out is in this one PDF document The e-zine is at the front and the pattern lift-out comes after. At the start of the pattern lift-out (page 156) is a printing guide so you can see which pages you’ll need to print to make which pattern. The pattern lift-out has the pattern pieces, sizing information, fabric requirements and other important information for the construction of each of the patterns. The instructions for making the patterns are in the e-zine pages. Before making any of the patterns you should read the pattern thoroughly. If you have any questions during construction please don’t hesitate to email me at help@onethimble.com.au or ask in the Facebook group at www.facebook.com/groups/onethimblesewingenthusiasts

Viewing your e-zine pages as a flip-book To view as a flip-book you can download One Thimble to your mobile device and use an app such as the free app Google Playbooks for android or Perfect Reader for iPhone - make sure you have “page curl” selected for the page turning mode and you have selected to view as double pages with a single first page for the cover.
