ichigamme Shores Campground Information
1. RENTALS: Visit our STORE to arrange equipment rentals. • Canoes/Kayaks • Pontoon Boats • Motorized Boats • Paddle Boats
• Volleyballs • Tennis Racquets
• Basketballs • Horseshoes
2. SWIMMING: Swim at your own risk. Parents, please watch your children while they are in or near the water. Children are not allowed on the dock without a parent.
3. CAMPFIRES: Small campfires only and must be attended at all times. Please put out your fire when going to bed or leaving. We don’t want to burn our trees, grass, or trailers. Firewood brought into the Campground must be 2 foot lengths or less. No logs or stumps allowed. No firewood from outside of Marquette County allowed due to Emerald Ash Borer.
4. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: Parents, Guardians and/or “those in charge” are responsible for their children’s behavior at ALL TIMES (as usual) until they become 18 years old. At that time, they seem to know everything there is to know and, of course are prepared to take on their own responsibilities for their behavior. Either way, when a person’s behavior is either destructive, disruptive or even disturbing to those around them — the unwanted “behavior” and anyone that goes with it will be escorted off the Campground ...without a refund or a “please come back” invitation from us. We will, however, smile and wave “Good-bye” as you drive away.
5. PETS: Pets are welcomed with a maximum 6-foot leash and an owner. Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at our Campground. BARKING DOGS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. All dogs are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owner at all times. All pets (with the exception of Service Animals) are to stay OUT OF BUILDINGS, BEACH AND PLAYGROUND AREAS. Pets do not like to be left alone and will share their feelings with all of your Campground neighbors ... who in turn, will share their feelings with us ... then we have to share them with you! Also keep in mind that NO ONE wants to be remembered for what their pet(s) leave behind ... So, we “thank you” in advance for cleaning up their acts.
6. FIREARMS, FIREWORKS & CHAINSAWS: These items are not permitted in the Campground! 7. RAILROAD CROSSING: STOP, LOOK and LISTEN before crossing the railroad tracks. 8. CLEANLINESS: Please keep your site clean of trash during your stay and use the trash cans throughout the Campground. Littering is not tolerated. 9. QUIET HOURS: 10:00 pm - 10:00 am are strictly enforced. The playground area is closed and all children must stay at their sites unless accompanied by an adult. No outside radios, TVs, musical instruments, etc. during quiet hours. 10. WASHING VEHICLES OR RVS: Please do not wash vehicles or RVs. We are on a well system and have a limited supply of water. 11. SPEED LIMIT — 5 MPH: Please drive slowly in the Campground; we have a lot of children playing and not watching out for you.
12. RV REQUIREMENTS: Each RV must have a SEALED SEWER CONNECTION or use a rubber donut. 13. VISITOR POLICY: ALL VISITORS MUST REGISTER AT THE OFFICE BEFORE GOING TO THEIR SITE. There is a $2.00 fee per person if the visitor is registered properly. IF A VISITOR DECIDES TO STAY LESS THAN ONE HOUR, WE WILL GLADLY REFUND THE VISITOR FEE PAID. We do limit the number of visitors, so please choose your guests wisely. Some campers are late risers, so please no visitors before 9:00 am. REMEMBER: all visitors must leave by 10:00 pm. If visitors spend the night, there is a $5.00 Fee. THANKS! 14. LAUNDRY: Open 24 Hours. 15. CHECK-OUT: NOON.
FAILURE TO OBEY CAMPGROUND RULES MAY RESULT IN THE TERMINATION OF YOUR STAY AND FORFEITURE OF FEES.
Our Sincere Thanks ... Enjoy your stay and come back soon!

MICHIGAN IRON INDUSTRY MUSEUM 73 FORGE ROAD, NEGAUNEE, MI (906) 457-7857
Admission is free and the museum is open year round, except holidays, (call for hours of operation). Visit the museum and then catch the bus for the Empire Mine Tour. The tour takes visitors to the vast, open-pit Empire Mine and the Tilden Mine’s taconite pellet processing plant. Many find it one of the most memorable parts of their vacation. Not only does the tour provide an insightful look at an important, dramatic mining operation, it’s also a memorable visual experience.
DA YOOPERS TOURIST TRAP AND MUSEUM SEE AD 12
The roadside attraction from a popular satirical U.P comedy group combines free outdoor exhibits like the world’s largest chain saw and deer playing cards at deer camp with Yooper novelties, books, and a good rock shop.
