Das acções adoptadas destacam-se o sector comercial e operacional, com a reabertura e abertura de novas rotas, sobretudo, o aumento das frequências domésticas semanais, de 20 para 44, e as internacionais, de 13 para 29 voos.

The financial availability of the Angolan Air Carrier (TAAG) has grown, since October 2021, from six to 180 days its cash flow, which represents a recovery of treasury of 40% to 60%. Of the actions taken, the commercial and operational sector stands out, with the reopening and opening of new routes, above all, the increase in weekly domestic frequencies, from 20 to 44, and international flights, from 13 to 29 flights.

Angola quer atrair mais investimentos de empresas especializadas na actividade de corte e lapidação de diamantes sediadas nos Emirados Árabes Unidos (EAU), de forma a que implantem fábricas no Pólo de Desenvolvimento Diamantífero de Saurimo (PDDS). Esse objectivo pode ser alcançado com a realização do “Fórum de Investimento para o Pólo de Desenvolvimento Diamantífero de Saurimo - DUBAI 2022”, a se realizar a 22 de Fevereiro deste ano pela SODIAM, nos Emirados Árabes Unidos.

Angola reduz volume de importações

O volume das importações de Angola, nos últimos cinco anos, registou uma redução de 4.2 para 1.4 mil milhões de dólares. A redução é uma consequência da implementação do Programa de Apoio à Produção, Diversificação das Exportações e Substituição das Importações (PRODESI). O PRODESI exportou para cinco países (Congo, Namíbia, República Democrática do Congo, Camarões e Portugal), num volume de negócios avaliado em cerca de 66 milhões de dólares.

Hoteleiras dos EAU querem investir em Angola

Os grupos empresariais “Rotana” e “Deutsche Hospitality”, dos Emirados Árabes Unidos (EAU), manifestaram a intenção de investir no sector hoteleiro em Angola, com o objectivo de dinamizá-lo e contribuir para alavancar a economia nacional. A Rotana Hotel Management Corporation (Rotana) foi fundada em 1992. O Grupo Deutsche Hospitality (anteriormente Steigenberger Hotel Group) é a marca geral da empresa hoteleira alemã Steigenberger Hotels AG, membro do Huazhu.

Angola wants UAE investments in diamonds

Newaco investe 127 milhões de kwanzas em nova loja

O grupo Newaco que actua no sector da distribuição de alimentos inaugurou, em Luanda, a vigésima sexta loja (Fresmart) num investimento de 127 milhões de kwanzas e gerou 40 postos de trabalho directos e indirectos. O empreendimento comercial, localizado no bairro do Benfica, município de Luanda, ocupa uma área total de 800 metros, dos quais 500 destinados à área de cliente.

The Newaco group, which operates in the food distribution sector, inaugurated, in Luanda, the twentysixth store (Fresmart) in an investment of 127 million kwanzas and generated 40 direct and indirect jobs. The commercial development located in the Benfica district, municipality of Luanda, occupies a total area of 800 meters, of which 500 are destined for the customer area.

Angola acolhe Congresso sobre Petróleo e Gás

Angola acolhe, de 16 a 19 de Maio deste ano, a 8ª Edição do Congresso e Exposição de Petróleo de África (CAPE VIII), com a finalidade de promover e apoiar o investimento no sector petrolífero nacional. Agência Fitch melhora avaliação do BAI para “estável”

A agência de notação financeira Fitch Ratings alterou a avaliação do rating do Banco Angolano de Investimentos S.A (BAI) para “estável”, como principal instituição financeira privado em Angola, com uma quota de mercado de empréstimos e depósitos estimados em cerca de 15% a 20%. Na sua última avaliação, a agência internacional de notação financeira destacou a resiliência do modelo de negócio do BAI, bem como a sua rentabilidade, de acordo com uma nota a que ANGOP teve acesso desta instituição financeira.

Fitch Agency improves BAI assessment to “stable”

The financial rating agency Fitch Ratings changed the rating of Banco Angolano de Investimentos SA (BAI) to “stable”, as the main private financial institution in Angola, with a market share of loans and deposits estimated at around 15% to 20%. In its latest assessment, the international rating agency highlighted the resilience of BAI’s business model, as well as its profitability, according to a note that ANGOP had access to from this financial institution.
