Lin & Idin

BRISBANE, QLD, 17 OCT 2022

Idin and Lin met at their local dog park in the Brisbane suburb of Sinnamon Park. “I have a beautiful border collie x sheltie named Loki and Idin has a ferocious chihuahua x mini fox terrier named Pretzel.”

“We first met in early 2018, when Loki was still a small puppy. We enjoyed chatting together while our dogs were playing in the park. Loki likes to antagonize Pretzel because he enjoys watching him angrily reacting!”

Idin proposed to Lin at the spot where he first told her he loved her... on top of a ridge in White Rock Conservation Park.

“On our wedding day, it was a bit rainy in the morning but cleared before the ceremony started. We were married under the big Jacaranda tree at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens and everyone was so happy. Our beautiful dogs were able to attend as well and Loki did a great job as the ring bearer. We had the most incredible florals which were created by New England Flower Co. Julia helped us decide on our theme when we had no idea what we were doing and Jessica was able to sort out some last-minute changes to make our day so perfect. We performed our first dance after the reception and then everyone jumped in to dance. It was so much fun.”

Belinda and Lester from Beleste Dance taught us our first dance. We were not sure we could do it in such a short time but we did it! They were so accommodating, friendly and professional.
