Meaghan Reynolds met Robert Lightfoot on a dating app. “We chatted for a few days and then went on our first date which was supposed to be a couple of casual drinks and ended up lasting 10 hours!”

There has never been a better test of the strength of a relationship than numerous pandemic lockdowns spent in a tiny one-bedroom apartment.”

“Rob proposed to me at home on New Year’s Eve when we were all dressed up and ready to go to a speakeasy themed function. It was both a surprise and not as we had designed the ring together with out amazing jeweller.”

“Our wedding was a cocktail style, colourful event! We asked our guests to wear bright colours! Birdman Randy and the Ivory Street Preachers created the energetic vibe as my mum and our fur baby, Archie escorted me to where Robert was waiting for his colourful bride.”

Our guests entered The Black via a laneway and were welcomed by a sign and a lick from Archie, our fur-baby, who very much enjoyed seeing his pawrents marry.

The wedding band was exceptional and got EVERY single guest dancing, The food was unreal and the guests absolutely made for the most perfect day!
