RESTORE :
I remember, strolling through the streets of any city, and seeing closed shop windows. This inactivity, or this un-busy-ness, stroke me ; what is happening behind these curtains, behind these fences or closed windows? Is it due to the economical slow-down ? This was the first thought that came to my mind. Urban spaces are designed to go around the clock, 24/7, never to rest. But no, some areas were closed. Dead.
Those are city break, sunday, day off, bank holiday, those are micro-sabbatical. Having a rest isn't an easy thing to do ; it takes time and it is exactly what we are lacking on a day-to-day basis. Even if we know that taking time for oneself is a great way to refill one's inspiration, to refuse time polluting tasks, to restore one's energy. Like a dow, resting isn't doing nothing, it is about rising.
