WELCOME!
HOW TO REGISTER
After spending the past month with friends and family, I am energized to begin 2018. Each new year welcomes a new start. That is why so many of us make new year’s resolutions. In the past, mine have been the usual: exercise more, eat healthier, save money, etc. I’m sure you can relate. And like many people, I forgot what I resolved to do by February! So this year, I have decided to focus on something more transformational—more meaningful— and I invite you to join me on this journey. This year, let’s focus on strength: strengthening the mind, body, and soul. Your Spring Program Guide outlines a variety of ways to achieve this. We can strengthen our minds by learning a new art technique. Strengthen our bodies at a fitness class or at the MOVE Across 2 Ranges hiking challenge. Strengthen our souls by joining a yoga class. There are so many choices, I’m confident you’ll find something that’s perfect for you. See you in the parks! Kristy Diaz-Trahan, director Oro Valley Parks & Recreation
